    About this Episode

This mix was done last year, but I finally got around to posting it. Here we have an hour studio mix of some of my favorite drum and bass tracks, including a few of my own. Not too hard, not too soft, but just right for good time. Crank the bass and enjoy! Please forgive the occasional fidelity changes, as there are a few whitelabels in here that probably never will see a digital release and I had to rip them from my worn down vinyl. I tried to clean them up as best I could. Lovingly chunked, diced, smothered and covered in Ableton and Soundforge, and encoded -V0 VBR in winLAME. biz markie ft elephant man - let me see you bounce (whitelabel rmx) brains - top shota TC - deep (roni size rmx) fatboy slim - rockafeller skank (mulders urban takeover rmx vs. joejoe) jah murda - wicked babylon roni size - railings (2008 re-edit) shy fx & t-power - everyday soundclash - bang bang tribe of issachar - tribal natty (aphrodite rmx) joejoe - my jungle dick top cat - smoke the sensi (marcus visionary mix) kanye west/high contrast - gold digger (jj re-edit) box bottom - bounce and boom barrington levy - under mi sense (dj inspecta rmx) jungle brother - urban takeover mix aphrodite - franks n beans-side (joejoe edit) dj fresh - gold dust unknown - basssssssssss! peter gabriel - in your eyes (joejoe bears rmx)

So, finally, here's a mix of almost entirely my own hip hop mashups and dancey stuff from the past 15 years or so. It rips through 14 or so tracks in less than 45 minutes, so its schizophrenic just like one of my live sets :) Note that I tried to tune down the explicit a notch and ducked some of the bad words, but it's still definitely NSFW 'cause, well, hip hop. So use caution. Hope you enjoy!
