    About this Episode

It is the week of Christmas, and in this episode, we continue to look at the arrival of Jesus Christ in a slightly different way. My hope is that you have time to pause in this week before we celebrate and remember all that happened at the time of Jesus' arrival.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. –Romans 12:2

Renewed in Times of Change and Growth - 14 Days to a Renewed Mind - Day 12

Whatever you find yourself in the middle of, take on an attitude of what am I supposed to learn in this?

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

Renewed in Grief - 14 Days to a Renewed Mind - Day 9

I'm dedicating the first 2 weeks of 2024 to daily reminders of the different ways that we can renew our minds.

This was a tough one, but I knew that it was a topic that should be addressed. The extremes of mental health issues are difficult to talk about, but still important.

Amie Patrick's husband took his own life after years of depression. She has arrived at a point of great healing and spoke in great detail with me in a previous episode. I invite you to listen to that conversation in its entirety. Amie has experienced a level of renewal that few get to. She has my thanks and respect.

I'm dedicating the first 2 weeks of 2024 to daily reminders of the different ways that we can renew our minds.

In this episode, my friend Erin Cluley shares about the importance of forgiveness as a means in renewing our minds. Jesus said, For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” (Matthew 6:14)

If Erin sounds familiar, it's probably because she and her husband allowed me to tell their story of Jesus restoring their marriage. You can listen to it HERE

“Gather to me this consecrated people,
who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
Listen, my people, and I will speak. –Psalm 50:5, 7

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. –Hebrews 13:15
