    As Director of Sales for the newly renovated Kimpton Angler’s Hotel South Beach, Ligy Alarcon brings 11 years of global sales, account management, and business development to her role together with her passionate spirit and goal-oriented approach. Ligy is an expert in the hotel business specifically in luxury, business, and entertainment and has worked with brands like the Thompson Hotel and W South Beach as a key player in Operation and Marketing for US and International markets. Ligy has enjoyed being part of the launch teams for so many iconic properties and looks forward to bringing Kimpton Angler’s to similar market status as her fifth career property opening. Ever conscious of the need to infuse the sales and marketing process with an opportunity to connect with guests and customers on a personal and human level, she thrives on creativity, professionalism and being innovative. Ligy is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and of Colombian descent. Her proudest moment however was becoming mom to her precious daughter Storm. In this episode you will learn about a very important role in the hospitality business and get insight into the amazing woman, wife and mom Ligy is. She juggles being a boss babe and family so flawlessly and knows all about leading as a woman in the ever-changing hotel industry.
