A wave of  paranormal activity sweeps through the greater New Haven area. Dr. Hornet - inspired by the French prog band Gong - invites callers to share their stories, hoping he can piece together what's really causing these ghosts and goblins to roam the streets of Elm City...

In an attempt to make his listeners forget about an (alleged) incident of farting on a live mic, Dr. Hornet enlists the help of the strange Dr. Magic to cast a memory-erasing spell. Unfortunately, the spell has consequences that will change the fabric of reality - and, most importantly, The Hornet's Nest - forever! Will Dr. Hornet make it back to his own reality, with his dignity intact? Tune in to find out!

During the WRGW Pledge Drive Dr. Hornet accidentally reveals that janitor "Sammy Miller" is notorious mob snitch Lorenzo “Bocce Boy” Bendetti. When a powerful mafioso offers to donate $25k in return for information on Bocce Boy, Dr. Hornet has to decide what's more important: raising money for the station or protecting his beloved janitor.

When fellow WRGW broadcaster Cool Bob "closes the book" on Dr. Hornet, he finds himself a social pariah. As the whole community turns on Dr. Hornet, he uses his show to plead with Bob to revoke his patented Done Deal.
