Janine Quijije has committed herself to empowering women to foster sisterhood and community in the name of diversity, equity and inclusion for nearly two decades. For 365 days she gifted herself with a period of pause. During this time of self reflection Janine embodied her future self in order to take a journey of introspection. This awakening flourished from the courage to foster her own healing and the vulnerability to be honest about where she was and who she wanted to become. As we listen to her shift in paradigm we too can adjust our perspective. Take a moment to embody your future self. Envision them. What do they look like? How do they speak? How do they move through life? Now instead of dreaming about how to get there, engage in those thoughts and feelings and BE that version.

Notarides adept navigation of the complexities of production has her constantly shifting, moulding and building. This session allows Anna's mind to pause and grasp the bigger picture without all the moving parts. Sarah and Tashion are able to assist in calming the surrounding noise by focusing on "in-the-moment coaching". In this spot coaching session, Christine Swanson (visionary filmmaker, most recently known for her direction of the record-breaking film The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel) is slowing down to achieve her goals by focusing on the steps that it takes to get there. Christine believes that when everyone is walking in their purpose without fear, the productivity is exponential. Thus, she is creating more opportunities where she is in the driver seat and magnetizing the resources around her to be who she was born to be. Being mindful of the open energy leaks that comes from spreading yourself too thin, Christine realizes that to accomplish the overall picture you need to focus on the next step, one at a time.

With the New Year comes New Ideas, and here we are serving up our 1st Roundtable with Filmmaker - Christine Swanson, Producer - Anna Notarides, and Makeup Artist Deida Massey.

Resilience erupts from being fuelled by possibility, and with the strikes derailing the entertainment industry these fierce women chose to stay in the mindset of abundance in the forefront of the unknown.

In spaces of quiet they leaned into embracing the silence and pivoting that feeling of loss into being found.

Through that expansion they found who they are by diverting their energy from work and pouring all that force into cultivating and fostering new experiences. They continued to seek what connection looks like when you nurture relationships with others and most importantly yourself.
