Overall, the podcast episode showcased the brothers' camaraderie and sense of humor, while the upcoming roast event is expected to bring even more entertainment.

The creators of the show appreciate their fans' enthusiasm and creativity, as they discussed various suggestions for a potential name for their fanbase. They also shared their favorite football movies, emphasizing themes of teamwork, determination, and overcoming obstacles. The discussion underscores the importance of adaptability and resilience, both in football and in life, as well as the power of sports to bring people together. The creators expressed their excitement about continuing to engage with their fans and discovering new ways to connect with them.

    • Stay focused and simple, like 'he fakes to the right, but goes left'Focus on goals and avoid distractions, draw inspiration from movies, and trust in the power of simplicity. Jalen Hurts leads the Eagles to victory with a flawless performance and good nutrition plays a crucial role in athletic success.

Simplicity and focus are key to success, as exemplified by the quote "he fakes to the right, but goes left." This quote, from an unspecified source, reminds us to stay focused on our goals and not get distracted by unnecessary complications. The speaker also shared his appreciation for movies, specifically mentioning "The Longest Yard" and "Big," and expressing a preference for the original versions. In the NFL, the Eagles stood out with a flawless performance against the Steelers, led by Jalen Hurts' impressive stats and win streak. Hurts has proven himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the league and continues to earn more recognition with each game. The speaker also highlighted the importance of good nutrition for athletes, leading him to use Athletic Greens daily to ensure he's getting all the necessary nutrients without the hassle of tracking multiple pills or powders.

    • Maintaining Health and Performance with Convenient SolutionsAthletic Greens offers a daily dose of vitamins and minerals, while HelloFresh delivers pre-portioned ingredients for easy and quick cooking, both essential for optimal health and performance.

Both Athletic Greens and HelloFresh offer convenient and effective solutions for improving health and nutrition. Athletic Greens provides a daily dose of high-quality vitamins and minerals with its AG1 supplement, while HelloFresh delivers farm-fresh, pre-portioned ingredients for easy and quick cooking. The NFL lineman in the discussion emphasizes the importance of these offerings in maintaining his health and performance, and the convenience they provide in saving time and energy. Additionally, Athletic Greens is currently offering a free year's supply of immune-supporting vitamin D and five free travel packs for first-time buyers, while HelloFresh offers 65% off and free shipping with the code HEIGHTS65. Jalen Hurts' MVP-worthy performance on the football field further highlights the importance of prioritizing health and nutrition for optimal performance.

    • Jalen Hurts' exceptional performance and AJ Brown's impressive gameJalen Hurts' adaptability and smart decisions lead the Eagles to victory, while AJ Brown's 3-touchdown game boosts their offense. Debates continue on drug testing and taunting in football.

Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, has been performing exceptionally well during the first half of the season, leading the team with smart decisions and effective use of the defense's weaknesses. His ability to adapt to the situation and take what the defense gives him has been a game-changer for the team. AJ Brown, the Eagles' wide receiver, also had an impressive performance with 6 receptions, 156 yards, and 3 touchdowns in a single game. However, the topic of drug testing after impressive games was brought up, with some speculation that it may be coincidental. The discussion also touched upon the controversial issue of taunting in football, with opinions divided on whether it should be allowed or not based on the number of scores a player has. Overall, the conversation highlighted the impact of key players on their team's success and the ongoing debates around rules in the sport.

    • Eagles Players Bring Excitement with CostumesPlayers Chris Long and Lane Johnson wore costumes on sideline to entertain fans, but coach Nick Sirianni asked them to remove distractions during poor performance.

Players like Chris Long and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles added some fun and distraction to the game by wearing costumes on the sideline during a football match against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chris Long wore a "sexy Batman" costume, which included a hairy belly, and Lane Johnson wore an underdog mask. While the teammates and fans enjoyed the moment, the coach, Nick Sirianni, was not amused as the team was not performing well during that time. Chris Long acknowledged the potential distraction and removed the mask when asked by Sirianni. The players' actions show how they try to bring excitement and entertainment to the game for the fans, even during serious situations.

    • The importance of attention to detail in unexpected situationsEven the smallest details can lead to complications, but blending in and enjoying unique experiences are worth the effort.

Even the smallest details can lead to unexpected complications, as evidenced by the strict rules surrounding the Ocean Drive shirts and Jason Kelsey's attempt to open a bottle with his flip flops. Another important point is that blending in can be a challenge, even for someone like Trey Kelsey who wears a face mask for a living. Despite these challenges, Trey appreciated the support from Eagles fans and enjoyed the unique experience of watching the game from the stands, which offered a different perspective than being on the field. Overall, the conversation highlighted the importance of attention to detail and the unique experiences that come with being a part of a sports team and its fanbase.

    • Dallas Goedert's Focus During Football GamesDuring games, Goedert studies defensive reactions, admires Sanders' skills, and appreciates Humphrey's performance. He's excited about new acquisitions Kadarius Toney and Robert Quinn, demonstrating team spirit and dedication.

During football games, Dallas Goedert focuses on observing the defensive side of things to understand how they react to the offense's route concepts. He admires Miles Sanders' ball-carrying skills and enjoys watching Creed Humphrey's performance in the interior line. Goedert is excited about the recent acquisitions of Kadarius Toney and Robert Quinn, expressing admiration for their abilities and the welcoming culture of the Eagles team. Goedert's attention to detail and appreciation for his teammates' skills demonstrate his dedication and team spirit. The addition of Toney and Quinn as weapons and teammates, respectively, will bring new energy and excitement to the offense.

    • Welcoming new players to a teamIntroduce new players to teammates and coaches, make them feel valued, and solidify trust and confidence within the team to help them adjust quickly and boost morale and team chemistry.

Creating a welcoming environment for new players is crucial for a successful team. The Eagles prioritize this by introducing new players to teammates and coaches, making them feel valued and part of the team. This not only helps the new players adjust quickly but also boosts morale and team chemistry. The presence of established veterans and high-performing players can further solidify trust and confidence within the team. Even if a team may not have an immediate need for a new player, adding good players and utilizing them effectively can only benefit the team. The culture and chemistry of a team play a significant role in making new players feel welcome and contributing to the team's success. Additionally, players like Russell Wilson, who are always looking for an advantage, can sometimes create intrigue and buzz around their actions, even if they are just trolling for attention.

    • NFL Players' Unique Pre-Game Rituals During FlightsNFL players have quirky pre-game rituals during flights, from Travis Kelce's high knees to team meals, emphasizing camaraderie and focus before games.

NFL players have unique pre-game rituals, and some engage in unconventional activities during flights to prepare for games. Travis Kelce, for instance, was once seen doing high knees on a long flight, which sparked playful teasing from his teammates. The Chiefs have a tradition of having a delicious spread of food on the plane, including Red Robin cheeseburgers and ice cream on the ride home. In contrast, the Eagles had rookies bring food for the team, and there were instances of players almost missing flights due to food delays. Per diem, a stipend given to players for meals during trips, was once used for gambling, but it's essential to gamble responsibly. The discussion highlights the camaraderie and quirks within NFL locker rooms, as well as the importance of finding ways to relax and focus before games.

    • Tradition of 'the bag' in footballFootball tradition 'the bag' allows players to pool money for first-class travel, boosting comfort, camaraderie, and performance.

During a previous football season, players would participate in a tradition where they would pool their money together before games, with the winning number getting to keep the collected funds. This tradition, known as "the bag," allowed anyone to participate, including coaches, and if you won, you'd be spending someone else's lost per diem. The best part was that it made a significant difference in players' comfort, particularly during flights, as first-class seats led to better sleep and overall well-being. Despite the benefits, the implementation of this tradition varied between coaching staffs, with some allowing it and others not. For instance, under Chip Kelly, players were able to sit first class, leading to two 10-win seasons and the best quarterback rating in NFL history for Nick Foles. However, due to the limited number of first-class seats, navigating who gets them can be challenging. Overall, the tradition of "the bag" showcases the camaraderie among players and the impact of small comforts on performance.

    • Impact of helmet removal during gamesPlayers must keep their helmets on to prevent missed opportunities and maintain focus, as helmet removal can impact game outcomes.

The premature removal of a helmet by a player can significantly impact the outcome of a game. This was evident in the last game played by PJ Walker, where DJ Moore took off his helmet after a touchdown, resulting in a missed extra point and a loss in overtime by three points. Another instance of this occurred during a Cleveland Browns game. It's essential for players to keep their helmets on to avoid such situations and maintain focus on the game. Moreover, the Baltimore Ravens tight end room showcases a strong culture, as evidenced by Isaiah Likely's immediate production when Mark Andrews got injured. Andrews, a first-team All-Pro from last year, gave Likely a congratulatory shout-out after his impressive performance. This offense thrives on the quarterback-receiver relationship, and Likely's ability to find zones and work well with Lamar Jackson is a testament to their success. Looking ahead to week 9, the Eagles face the Texans in Houston for Thursday Night Football. The Texans have struggled against powerful running backs, with Derrick Henry leading the league in rushing yards in recent games. Thursday games require mental preparation and consistency, as there is no practice involved. Teams that can minimize mistakes and stay focused have a better chance of winning these matchups.

    • Preparation and Recovery During Bye WeeksPlayers prioritize mental and physical recovery during bye weeks, with some focusing on beer and downtime while others use proactive methods like needle sessions. Coaches benefit from extra time for preparation, but both teams face similar challenges on short weeks.

The bye week before a game can be beneficial for coaches in terms of extra preparation time, but both teams face similar challenges on short weeks. Mentally focusing and eliminating mistakes are key. While some players prioritize physical recovery, others focus on mental recovery and decompression after a game. Chiefs player, Mike Pennel, emphasizes the importance of both. He enjoys a post-win beer and downtime, but also values proactive recovery methods like needle sessions. The connection between Pennel and Mike Vrabel, the Titans coach, is another interesting takeaway. Their Ohio State background and history of playing against each other in the AFC add to their mutual respect.

    • Respected Coaches Vrabel and Reid Prepare for ShowdownEffective communication and collaboration between coaches and players are crucial for stopping tough opponents like the Titans' running game and improving overall team performance.

Both Vrabel and Reid are respected figures in their respective sports, with Vrabel bringing passion to his football and defensive coaching, and Reid boasting an impressive 23-season regular season record as a head coach. The upcoming game against the Titans, known for their tough defense and running game led by Derrick Henry, will require a strong focus on stopping the run. Communication and collaboration between offensive and defensive players and coaches are essential, with players like Kelce sharing insights on opposing teams' strategies. These organic conversations contribute to a better understanding of the game plan and ultimately lead to improved team performance.

Travis Goes Racing, Brady Roast Reactions and Anniversary Swords | Ep 89
92%ers we are back with another episode of New Heights sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings. Let’s Go Sports Bar!  In this episode, we’ve got some updates on how you can attend the biggest party in Kansas City at this year's Kelce Jam 2.0 and where you can watch all of the videos recapping our incredible live show in Cincinnati.  But we’ve got some important business to get to in this episode including, responding to Ryan Reynolds’ and Rob McElhenney’s plan to get us to a Wrexham game overseas and Pat Mahomes’ claim that he can’t keep up with the Kelce boys.  We also have the reveal of Kylie’s anniversary sword, our reactions to the roast of Tom Brady, Travis gives us all the details on his time at the races in Kentucky and Miami, and Jason is maybe starting a feud with Secretariat. That horse could outrun the competition but not the asterisk we’re adding to the record books.  We finally check in on the NFL now that we’re 120 days until kickoff and break down what fans should take away from rookie mini-camps and react to all the guys maybe doing too much in their social media workouts.  Don't forget to check out all the videos from our live show in Cincinnati. The team did some amazing work on all of those, and who knows, maybe you will solve the mystery of Jason’s missing ring.  We will be back with more New Heights every Wednesday during the offseason so make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube Channel and wherever you get your podcasts so you don’t miss a single episode and follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok for all the best moments from the show.  . . . We’ve got Travis’ reaction to his new Chiefs contract, Jason addressing the rumors he’s making a move to TV, and we’ve finally reveal the launch dates for our videos recapping the insanity that was our live show in Cincinnati.  We also have breakdown of Mother’s Day gifts, a No Dumb Question about swapping bodies with another athlete, and Travis recaps his weekend in Vegas raising money with Patty Mahomes.  The guys also breakdown the 2024 NFL Draft. We get into the first round that was dominated by offensive players, the Chiefs adding the fastest WR available, and the Eagles making some bold choices with skill position players. Andrew Santino on Caleb Williams Draft, John Cena Down Under & Jason's Stand-Up Future | Ep 87
92%ers we are back with another special guest episode of New Heights sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings. Let’s Go Sports Bar! In this episode, we welcome comedian, actor, fellow podcaster, and Bad Friend Andrew Santino.  The guys get into Andrew’s snowy first impression of Jason, the origin of his “Cheeto” nickname, how Bobby Lee ruined the Bad Friends tour bus, Andrew’s wild Vegas golf outing with Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon, and the exotic cuisine he tried down under with John Cena.  We also get to Travis’ “Fall Out Boy” incident when he guested on Santino’s show, discuss which comedians could make it in the NFL, the time Andrew punk’d Taylor Swift and Drake, and because this is football show we do eventually discuss the upcoming NFL draft.  There are also great stories about Pat Mahomes and his love of Coors Lights, Rob McElhenney donating a golf club to the LA River, some confusion over George Washington’s hair color, and of course, everyone’s favorite conspiracy theories.  We will be back with more New Heights every Wednesday during the offseason so make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube Channel and wherever you get your podcasts so you don’t miss a single episode and follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok for all the best moments from the show.  . . .
