    About this Episode

The Braves are down another outfielder as Eddie Rosario will miss 8-12 weeks following eye surgery to correct blurriness and swelling in his right eye. All eyes are on Ronald Acuna Jr and all mouths are asking when he will be making his return to the big league team. In the meantime, the Braves prepare to welcome Seiya Suzuki and the Chicago Cubs to town as they look to win their first series of the season.

But last night was a little more impressive on the backdrop of that wild series in Cincinnati. After a top notch matchup last night, go ahead and prepare yourselves for a similar quality matchup tonight

    S2E18: Respect Your Elders

The Braves salvage a game against the Dodgers behind yet another outstanding start from Bryce Elder, something that has become an expectation at this point. The expectation around baseball is that Elder will eventually get El Kabonged by the regression monster, but I'm not so sure that's the case. Not only do I think what Elder is doing is sustainable, but I also think the very idea that his results are surprising says more about us as fans than it does about Bryce. I'll do my best to explain my position today.
