I love my Air Force family.  Always have always will.  This week I bring on my Air Force recruiter from 2000.  He helped me join the world's greatest Air Force and 20-plus years later, we're still friends.  Mike served over 20 years in multiple roles from an administration Airman, recruiting, and as a First Sergeant.  He's led hundreds of Airmen by teaching and molding them into young leaders.

Alex Meixner is a local legend.  His accordion rings through the Bier Garten's of New Braunfels, Texas.  Every November, The Alex Meixner band performs at one of the largest festivals in the country, Wurstfest.    If you've been to this festival, then you've seen and heard of Alex. 

This week Alex joins us in the studio to share his love for Polka music.  Alex is a fourth-generation Austrian that has a passion for music.  He learned the accordion at a very young age from his mother.  Now, years later, he shares polka with the world.

In early December, my wife and I decided to purchase a new vehicle for our business.  Understanding the demand for new vehicles and increased prices with used vehicles, we decided to purchase a new vehicle under our business.  We were literally the easiest sale a salesperson can make.  We knew what we wanted and had cash to put down.  However, we noticed they continued to lie, mislead, forget, not communicate and create unnecessary drama. 

Note:  In the end, it all worked out, but only after talking to multiple dealerships.  Shout out to the salesperson who actually closed the deal.   You rock!  

To my sales professionals out there.  Slow down!!!  The market is growing with no indication of it reversing.  Add value by listening, understanding, problem-solving, etc.  The car industry as we know will be disrupted in due time.
