Parenting Children of Divorce: Part 1

Parenting Children of Divorce: Part 1

We would like to pivot our discussions from the individual healing perspective of the divorce process, to focus on other affected parties of the situation.  Your child/children are at the centre of this change in your family situation, and extra consideration should be given to them.  To ensure their well-being are at the forefront of the decisions being made that affect them.  This episode is the beginning of a series of episodes we will have that are dedicated to parenting and helping your children during this time.

We have a very special guest joining us; Chef Pam Fanjoy (MSW,  RSW).  She has been a clinical Social Worker for over 30 years with experience in working with children and families from complex situations.  She's also an award winning Chef and a winner of Top Chef Canada.  Now she's harmoniously mixed together her passions into  her unique cooking therapy model.  Hear more about it in this episode.

Pam shares plenty of her insight and practical tips on how to go through this change with your children and make it as smooth as possible for everyone involved.

We hope that you will have plenty of takeaways from this conversation.  Look out for a part 2 of this series in the coming year.
