SOUTHERN EXPOSURE, The Documentary FILMMAKER BIO: With over 50 years of experience in broadcasting, audio and video production, Director Jerry Misner and Producer Stan Wald are the men behind the cameras, microphones and post-production suites. A former Marine officer in Vietnam, Jerry has earned numerous awards including two awards for the creation of television and radio commercials. Formerly in radio broadcast and management, Stan is a writer with a new true-crime novel pending publication and an actor featured in a number of radio and television commercials. SOUTHERN EXPOSURE SYNOPSIS: Three years in the making, Southern Exposure is a one-of-a kind, two-hour fact-filled documentary that lifts the curtain of lies, half-truths and misinformation to reveal the many facets of illegal immigration. More than just another film that captures footage of illegal aliens crossing into the United States being chased by Border Patrol agents, Southern Exposure chronicles the back-stories of drug cartels, human trafficking, Ethnic Studies programs taught in schools, the myth of Aztlan and Reconquista, environmental destruction of Arizona wildlife preserves, the resurgence of contagious diseases, demographic changes affecting employment and social services, illegal crossers from known terrorist countries, racism, and other problems spawned by illegal immigration. Southern Exposure presents the stories most main-stream media and government representatives fail to present. This film somehow manages to pack a ton of imperative information into two hours without ever losing your undivided attention. If you don't find your jaw on the floor when this film ends, you better check to make sure you still have a pulse. Gadi Adelman, Author/Speaker. EXCELLENT work on Southern Exposure. My wife and I watched it last night. We found the documentary compelling. I thought you wove the many themes involved in illegal immigration together tightly and seamlessly. It was a serious piece of work and I am glad I watched it.
