    About this Episode

Chapman's Ice Cream had been in Canada for decades when a fire in 2009 destroyed their Markdale, Ontario facility.

Nobody would've faulted founder, David Chapman for taking an insurance settlement and moving on. But instead, the Chapman's chose to stay in Markdale and re-build their facility, keeping hundreds of jobs in the Markdale surrounding area.

David Chapman's son, Ashley Chapman joins Chuck Bastie to discuss why the Chapman's chose to stay to re-build and why.
