    About this Episode

The Hawks went into Detroit with a lot of questions after an eventful offseason. Three rookies, only 6 returning players, and a veteran entering his 22nd season combine to make what could be the most fun team in the NBA.

Trae Young's explosion, Jabari leading the second unit, and Hunter looking like an NBA regular all are talked about in this inaugural episode of the KettleCast for the 2019-2020 season

Game 21: Win Streak Snapped at the Farm

Game 21: Win Streak Snapped at the Farm

The Hawks fall 90-99 to the New York Knicks. Trae Young carries the Hawks, scoring 33 points and dropping 7 assists, but the Hawks cannot hit the broadside of a barn. The Atlanta basketball team shoots just 35.5% from the field, 24.3% from three, and are not able to muster the offense to knock off the Knicks.

The Knicks get great contributions from Alec Burks(23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists), Evan Fournier (20 points and 2 rebounds), R. J. Barrett (15 points and 7 boards), and Obi Toppin. Toppin provided a monster dunk in the 3rd quarter that was sure to make his father, Dunker's Delight, proud.

The Hawks face the Pacers on Wednesday night.
