Our conscious mind can only focus on one thought at a time, but our subconscious mind, which stores all our experiences, doesn't differentiate between truth and falsehood. Therefore, it's crucial to be mindful of the affirmations we make to ourselves, as they can have long-lasting effects on our self-image. Repeating negative affirmations can lead to self-sabotage, while positive affirmations can foster self-confidence and growth. Be aware of the power of "I am" and use it wisely.
The power of self-talk on our subconscious mind: Repeating positive affirmations can change our self-beliefs, impacting our confidence and mindset.
Our subconscious mind does not distinguish between truth and falsehood. Whatever we repeatedly tell ourselves, whether positively or negatively, gets stored in our subconscious. If we keep telling ourselves that we're not good enough or incapable, our subconscious will believe it and reinforce those beliefs. On the other hand, if we start using empowering affirmations and repeating positive self-talk, our subconscious will begin to adopt those beliefs as well. It might seem like a simple or even woo-woo concept, but it can have a significant impact on our self-confidence and overall mindset. So, try incorporating positive affirmations into your daily routine, even if it feels awkward at first. Over time, you may notice a shift in your thought patterns and the way you view yourself.
