Me and wife Jackie have a look at the UK singles chart
for 11th September 1976. it is the day we got married
47 years ago.

Follow Hibernian, Rangers, Hearts, Dundee, Kilmarnock
and Celtic in their hope of glory in the exciting early years
of the European Cup.

Its a match between the two Beatles 1965 albums. Help ! vs
Rubber Soul. I'll be going through the albums track by track
giving a point to my choice as best song. The side one closing
tracks are " Ticket To Ride" vs " Michelle"  not easy.

In this episode i'll be looking back at Pegasus F.C. who within 
a few years of their first ever match would be filling grounds
throughout the country. the clubs exploits in the F.A. Amateur
Cup became legendary.

Looking back at the mens singles at the1970 Wimbledon
Tennis Championships.  Australian Rod Laver was going for
his fifth straight title. Trying to stop him were the likes of
Rosewall, Roche, Newcombe, Ashe, Emerson, Okker, Nastase
and Britain's finest Taylor and Cox.

Jackie joins me to run down the U.K. Top 30
