Compassion International has been a trusted partner of COMMUNITY for many years now. In fact, to date we as a church community have sponsored 1,779 kids through Compassion. 

Compassion works with churches in impoverished areas to address not only the physical needs of children, but their educational, economic, and spiritual needs!

Today we’d love for you to consider sponsoring a child with us. When we give on behalf of those in need, our light rises. The light of Christ, the hope of Jesus shines in and through us.

Sometimes when we hit a wall, we try to wrap our heads around what God is doing. Our hearts pound and our legs tremble and we shake at the wall. It feels as if there’s no getting around it. 

Today, we look at how Habakkuk responds to his wall experience. For us, his journey can be a blueprint of sorts. A guide for our own dark night seasons. 

It’s almost like talking to a seasoned runner as you prepare for a marathon who says, “Yeah I get it. I too have faced the wall. But here’s how I got through it.” That’s what Habakkuk Chapter Three offers us.

God doesn’t waste the waiting! He’s not just working on your circumstance, he’s working on YOU.

No matter what life feels like right now, know that God will be faithful to you. If you doubt that remember this truth:

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8b)

Even when we were not faithful, God was faithful.

There can be a lot to complain about in life…

And at times, during the hardest seasons of life, it does seem like God isn’t being fair. 

But, is it okay to complain to God?

As we go through our new series  “Why Does God Seem Unfair?” we’ll explore a book of the Bible that is all about a man who complained when it seemed God was being unfair.  We’re going to look at Habakkuk’s complaint and God’s response.

Jesus Says:
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.’” - Luke 9:23

By being intentional about LESS, we can actually experience MORE 🙌

Eternity isn’t merely SPOKEN to us, TAUGHT to us, or PRESENTED to us…

It’s PLANTED INSIDE of us❗️

“Forever” is such a deeply divine idea, and if it wasn’t for God planting it IN us - eternity wouldn’t even be on our radar.

Instead, God has planted within each of us a LONGING for something MORE, something that LASTS, it is a longing for the ETERNAL.🙌
