Underground 70's Rock Hidden Gems
Welcome to AFU Podcast!! Sorry it’s been a little time since my last Podcast but this one is going to be sooooo… worth it. This is dedicated to the unsung bands of the 70’s rock scene that never got a chance to break it into the mainstream (other than UFO and Whitesnake). I have been an avid vinyl record collector and love seeking out extremely hard to find and rare records. So this podcast are all vinyl rips from my collection. The artists you will hear here are truly amazing and the forefront of Rock, Hard Rock Jam, Prog and Proto Metal in the 70’s along with just plain badass rocking songs. Hopefully you will enjoy this one and please feel free to comment about the podcast and also recommendations of some rare 70’s artists.

Their debut album, A Third of a Lifetime, featured several drummers, including Miles, Carmine Appice (of Vanilla Fudge) and Mike Kellie (from Spooky Tooth). Tony Newman, who had previously played with Sounds Incorporated and Jeff Beck, joined for the group's next two albums, and a fourth album was planned but never recorded. Newman then left to play with David Bowie, and the Gurvitzes united with Ginger Baker as the Baker Gurvitz Army.
