Will Rachel Griffiths agree to be in our show? Will we find a Director of Photography with Hollywood pedigree to join our more… local production? What does a production designer do, and how on earth are we going to put music to our story? Well you’ll have to listen to find out!

Following the casting notes from Stevie Ray the Daddos set off to pitch the show to Alex Papps; hoping the beloved TV actor will play our lead role. Plus Cameron pulls some SERIOUS strings and managed to get the one and only Rachel Griffiths to hear our pitch for her to play our leading female role of Stephanie. The only problem is… we’ve not actually written much of that character yet! Good thing the wonderful Libby Butler is a phone call away to help out!

Getting actors to star in our TV show is going to be hard because so far our budget leaves a lot to be desired. Andrew and Cameron speak to agent Eloise Georgaris and Casting Associate Stevie Ray to find out the dos and don'ts of the casting process – including what to do if you’ve already done some of the "don'ts".

Directing isn’t all sitting in canvas chairs and shouting ACTION! Cameron and Andrew talk to directors Peter Andrikidis and Fiona McGee to try and find the creative mind the guide their TV show from script to screen.

It’s great to have a concept and a show-runner, but we don’t have any scenes yet! Andrew and Cameron call up Sarah Smith to pick her story-telling mind about where they should go to next, before enlisting the help of Libby Butler and Joe Murphy for their very first writers room. Joe has worked on 'Younger' and 'Emily In Paris', and Libby has crafted tales for hit soap 'Neighbours' and 'Loving Captivity'. They’ve got SERIOUS skills and give the Daddos brothers a few lessons in how to make your story great (and common tropes and mistakes to avoid).

So we've got our idea, now how do we get it off the ground? With a Show-runner of course! The Daddos call up three of the biggest, brightest and most-likely-to-answer-when-we-called producers; Anne Robinson, Michael Petroni, and Tania Chambers.
We find out what a show-runner is, and try to find one for our little show that could! And keep our chin up despite an acceptance that turned into a rejection, a reluctant acceptance and one that came with a reasonable amount of caution.

We're going behind the curtain of the creative process to show you how you can go from a blank piece of paper to someone screaming 'ACTION' on a set.
Cam and Andrew will be pitching to directors, producers, talent managers and even a Golden Globe winner. But first... we need to come up with an idea to actually pitch. How hard can it be.. right?
