Welcoming back my friend for the 3rd time on the podcast, we catch up on the expansion of her business and family and get into some of the treatments being offered at her office in Stoneham, MA.

Stefanie brings an intimate knowledge of health & fitness to her treatment style, with her 15 years of Personal Training experience. Stefanie has grown to love running after completing 15 Marathons!

In 2014, she decided to create a High-End, Concierge company called Boston Health & Wellness, that would collaborate her skills & bring convenience to her clients in their own home. She provided in-home Physical Therapy, Personal Training, Yoga, Massage, & Run Coaching.

In 2020, she decided that she wanted to expand her business model since not everyone can afford Out-of-Pocket care. She knew she needed a Physical Location that DID ACCEPT ALL HEALTH INSURANCES. Even during a pandemic, she knew her timing was correct and she had to take the leap of faith and open an office. Stefanie opened Boston Health & Wellness in November of 2020 which provides Physical Therapy, Telehealth PT, Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, Massage, Dry Needling, Cupping, Run Coaching, Adult Fitness, and Injury Prevention.

What a special episode.  I get to chat with a bestie that also drops some major nuggets of inspo on how to transform your life!

We start by calculating just how long we've known each other, doing some reminiscing to "the old days" when we met in the radio industry and do a little catching up.

We talk about her journey from those days and the "things" that she thought made her happy, to the realization that they didn't and pursuit of what exactly "happy" looked like.

After years of training & coaching she now helps others; schools, businesses and organizations. Her journey is an awe-inspiring testament to the power of positivity and the profound impact one person can have in spreading joy and wellbeing.

Along with her husband Lee, who she met along her journey, they've created Shift Happens Global.  See below for more information on all that they do and for a free 21 journal.

Jenn Venn - Entrepreneur, Mother, Wife and yes, Cancer Survivor

Jenn found out less than a year ago that she had breast cancer.  Stage 2 and grade 3 (yes, that is important and not so often talked about).

She immediately called her doctor and began the process of how to treat it.  On this episode we talk about how open Jenn's been in telling her story to her team at her salon, her landlords (who were super supportive), her 4 year old son and to her on line followers.

Jenn's learned a lot in less than a year about being a patient and how to be a friend to others.  She's transparent and shares how others stepped up in big and small ways to help while she was going through treatment.  She also has some tips for people who may not know how to help someone who may be doing the same.

Thank you to Jenn for her time and grace, who's status by the way is currently NED (no evidence of disease!)

CEO & Founder Building PPL - Krysta Van Ranst

CEO & Founder Building PPL - Krysta Van Ranst

Krysta Van Ranst is the CEO and founder of Building PPL, a leading Massachusetts-based construction learning and development consulting firm. In her role, Krysta connects her client list of small and mid-sized construction companies with innovative L&D solutions that begin by investing in people.

After over a decade of holding major titles like Senior Global Learning Specialist for TripAdvisor, Director of Talent for Dellbrook | JKS, and L&D Manager at Suffolk Construction, Krysta wanted to make more space for her family. She left corporate behind to begin her entrepreneurial journey and shift to full-time founder in an industry she had previously planted roots - construction.

In her first year of business in 2020, Krysta translated her passion and sense of purpose in the construction industry to $430,000 in grants for her clients and reduced turnover by 10% for each of her clients. Less than 4 years later, she has netted more than $4 million in grants which will fund training for nearly 3,000 employees, retained 100% of her clients, and has grown the firm from 1 to 5 employees.

When Krysta isn’t dreaming up her next change-making learning directive, she’s wrestling her 3 boys, reading as many books as possible or going to Broadway shows with her husband.
