What REALLY Happened with McCarthy, And The Next Steps (Ep 2102)

    enOctober 04, 2023

    Podcast Summary

    • Disappointment with Politicians, Prioritize Self-RelianceStay informed about tax laws, be self-reliant, and consider tax mitigation services to save money.

Relying on politicians for solutions may lead to disappointment. Dan Bongino, the show's host, shares his perspective on the current political climate and encourages listeners to be dispassionate and self-reliant. He emphasizes the importance of conservatism and being informed about tax laws to save money. The show also introduces America First Tax Group, a tax mitigation company that helps taxpayers save thousands by standing up to the IRS. Bongino's personal experience with cancer made him reevaluate his life and led him to prioritize honesty and self-sufficiency over political allegiance.

    • Politics has no heroes, focus on conservative goalsFocus on electing a more conservative Speaker or settling for a moderate one, prioritize conservative agenda

There are no heroes in politics, and people should be aware of the political realities behind the scenes. The recent events surrounding McCarthy's withdrawal from the Speaker of the House race were not due to his principled stance, but rather a lack of support from his own party. The focus should be on advancing conservative goals, and the "Banjino army" should work towards electing a more conservative speaker or settling for someone moderately more conservative. The ultimate goal is to prioritize the conservative agenda, regardless of individual allegiances to specific politicians.

    • Maintaining Republican control of the HouseRepublicans must contact their representatives to prevent unfavorable deals and advance conservative policies, regardless of the Speaker of the House.

The goal is to advance conservative policies, regardless of who the speaker of the house is. While there's a potential for a moderate or even a Democrat to be elected, the chances are slim. It's crucial for Republicans to contact their representatives to prevent any unfavorable deals and maintain control of the house. Trump's desire to be speaker is unlikely, as he has his sights set on the presidency. The speaker role is only temporary, making it an unattractive proposition for Trump. Ultimately, the focus should remain on moving the conservative ball forward.

    • Focus on policy, not dramaContact your congressman for a conservative speaker, prioritize action over panic, and hold elected officials accountable.

Despite the ongoing drama surrounding the Speaker of the House, it's important for individuals to set aside their emotions and focus on policy. The news cycle moves quickly, especially with social media, and it's essential to prioritize action over panic. The speaker situation is likely to be resolved soon, and conservatives have the numbers to demand a conservative leader. It's crucial to contact your congressman and express your support for a conservative speaker. The establishment class is taking notice, and apathy should not be an option. Let's hold our elected officials accountable and make our voices heard.

    • Emphasizing Party Unity and Getting Things DoneDespite internal disagreements, it's crucial to represent the party and focus on getting things done. McCarthy may not be perfect, but could be a viable option for Speaker of the House. Accurate information is important, and financial struggles require solutions. Trustworthiness is key, but keep the focus on issues.

During a Republican committee race in Maryland, the importance of representing the party and getting things done was emphasized, despite some internal disagreements and objections. In the context of the ongoing discussion about potential Speakers of the House, it was noted that McCarthy, while not perfect, may not be much worse than other options. The importance of accurate information was also highlighted, as some statements made during the debate were dismissed but were actually correct. Additionally, the financial struggles of Americans amid inflation and rising rates were addressed, with a promotion for American Financing and their ability to help individuals get out of debt. Lastly, the issue of trustworthiness was raised regarding Kevin McCarthy and the importance of keeping focus on the issues at hand rather than personalities.

    • Chaotic governance through continuing resolutions and omnibus billsLast-minute additions in omnibus bills benefit lobbyists, special interests, and hinder transparency and accountability for American people.

The current method of governing in the US, through continuing resolutions and omnibus bills, is chaotic and detrimental to transparency and accountability. This method allows for last-minute additions of content without proper scrutiny, which benefits lobbyists and special interests at the expense of the American people. Kevin McCarthy's attempt to seek help from the Democrats to secure the Speakership highlighted this issue, as the Democrats unanimously voted with the eight Republicans, demonstrating that they too are part of the problem. The lack of regular order budgeting and the reliance on omnibus bills has been ongoing since the 1990s, and it's time for a change. The focus should be on passing single subject spending bills, allowing for thorough evaluation and debate, rather than the current practice of passing massive, complex bills at the end of the year.

    • Unexpected Resignation of House Speaker McCarthyMcCarthy's resignation led to potential instability in the House, as the Democrats lost leverage and the Republicans faced challenges in selecting a new speaker and addressing budgeting issues. The EBS test added to the uncertainty.

The unexpected resignation of Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker came as a surprise to both the Democrats and Republicans. The Democrats had planned to vote against McCarthy and for a more conservative alternative, but McCarthy refused their attempts to regain power. In response, McCarthy removed Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer from their offices. The Democrats lost their leverage, and the institution of the House of Representatives faced potential instability due to the small number of dissenting voices within the majority party. McCarthy's resignation marked a shift in power dynamics, and the Republican Party now faces the challenge of moving forward with their new speaker and addressing the budgeting process. The EBS test, while not directly related, is a concern due to its timing and potential implications.

    • Living Well and Aging Gracefully through Nutrition and LifestyleStart today to prioritize good nutrition, exercise, and high-quality supplements and skincare for better health and aging gracefully. Demand a conservative political path and hold elected officials accountable. Stay informed about potential alerts.

Prioritizing good nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through eating right, exercising, and using high-quality supplements and skincare products can contribute significantly to better health and aging gracefully. The speaker emphasized the importance of starting today and not waiting, using Fielder Green's and Genuine Cell Skincare as examples. Additionally, it's crucial to demand a conservative political path and hold elected officials accountable for their actions. The speaker also addressed concerns about an emergency broadcast system alert and advised staying informed.

    • Concerns over Timing of US and Russia Emergency Broadcast TestsBoth Russia and the US conducted emergency broadcast tests on the same day, sparking concerns of potential military escalation. Stay informed and attentive to ongoing events to avoid missing crucial information.

On October 4, 2023, both Russia and the US conducted tests on their emergency broadcast systems. The speaker expresses concern that the timing of these tests may not be a coincidence, and suggests that the government may be aware of an escalation in the military situation with Russia or China. He also notes that the news cycle moves quickly and that important issues can be forgotten within 15 minutes, making it essential to stay informed and pay attention to ongoing events. The speaker's sources indicate that the tests are routine, but he remains concerned about the potential for government spying and the possibility that the Russians may be trying to send a message.

    • Democrats pursue open border policy for long-term gainDemocrats prioritize long-term political advantage over short-term losses, including border control and census counting.

The Democrats are pursuing an open border policy as part of a long-term strategy to transform the United States into a Democrat-leaning country. They are willing to forfeit short-term losses, such as seats and public opinion, in order to achieve this goal. This was seen in their handling of Obamacare, which faced significant backlash but remains the law. The Democrats also opposed efforts to count only U.S. citizens in the census, as they saw the inclusion of illegal immigrants as beneficial to their long-term plans. This strategy involves gaining control of congressional seats and the electoral college.

    • Democrats focus on demographic shifts for political powerDemocrats aim to leverage demographic changes, including multiracial populations and declining white population, to gain political power through census data and electoral college votes, but including illegal immigrants in census count is a contentious issue.

The Democrats are focusing on demographic changes in the United States, specifically the increase in multiracial populations and the decline of the white population. They believe this demographic shift will help them gain political power, as white people are projected to become a minority in the country in the coming years. The census plays a crucial role in this, as it determines the allocation of congressional seats and electoral college votes. The Democrats are concerned about the loss of population and political power in liberal states like California and New York, while states like Texas are gaining population and electoral votes. To mitigate this, they want to include illegal immigrants in the census count, which would give them additional representation and electoral college votes. However, this is a contentious issue and not a simple solution. The demographic changes and their political implications are complex and multifaceted.

    • Powerful individuals and political entities exploit illegal immigration for political gainGeorge Soros and the Democratic Party seek to promote illegal immigration to undermine national cohesion and exploit the situation for political gain, rather than helping immigrants integrate.

Certain powerful individuals and political entities, such as George Soros and the Democratic Party, have a vested interest in promoting illegal immigration as a means to undermine national cohesion and the love of country. They want to keep people in the shadows, separate from mainstream society, and exploit this situation for political gain. This is not about helping immigrants integrate into their new home, but rather about sowing chaos and division for the sake of political power. This was evident in the reaction to UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman's comments on the importance of integration and identifying areas where it has not been successful. The left's response was extreme, showing their love for the chaos and destruction of national cohesion. This issue is not just about immigration policy, but also about the census, electoral college, and congressional seats. It's all part of a larger plan to weaken the fabric of our societies and erode the sense of national unity.
