Joining us today is Chrissy L. Whitten. Chrissy is a mom of three-one in heaven and two on earth. She has been married to her warrior, Michael, for twenty years. 

Throughout Chrissy’s journey she has faced a great number adversities and has been able captured these precious and valuable moments through the journaling process. 
 
 With God’s leading, Chrissy has turned this collection of heartfelt, beautiful entries into a series of  books called,  journals from a warrior’s mother. 

Over these next few weeks we will have the great privilege of hearing these intimate moments and how God acted as firm foundation through all the mountains and valleys.

Darlene Cunha MMHC, BSN, RN, CENP, ACHE  has been a practicing nurse for more than 40 years. She has held executive nursing and operational roles across multiple specialties, including critical care, emergency services, women and children services, clinical education, care management, quality and surgical services, and physician practices. In addition, she has held two adjunct professor positions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has served in executive leadership positions for the past 20 years for large health care and is highly dedicated to quality, safety, and the advancement of the nursing profession. She has an eye toward innovation and believes in holistic approaches to patient and family care that embrace compassion. She is currently a Nurse Executive Change Leader for Trinity Health, bringing forth a new and exciting virtual connected care™ model to the bedside.
