Healing Through Writing & Amplifying Diverse Voices // Author Chat with Amy M. Le
Joining me on this episode is my guest Amy M. Le. She is a Vietnam War survivor and Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) warrior. She is the founder of Quill Hawk Publishing, a woman-owned, Asian American hybrid publishing company based in Oklahoma. Quill Hawk Publishing is dedicated to amplifying diverse voices through storytelling and helps writers indie publish their books. Amy grew up in Seattle and had a successful career at Microsoft and T-Mobile before pivoting to become a writer, publisher, and speaker. She is the award-winning author of the Snow Trilogy: Snow in Vietnam, Snow in Seattle, and Snow’s Kitchen. Amy is currently working on the second novel in the phoenix series, showcasing the resiliency of people who’ve survived deep trauma. Amy co-founded The Heart Community Collection, a resource for the CHD community, and sits on the board of the Vietnamese Boat People and Asian Artists for Mental Illness organizations. When she is not writing or volunteering, Amy is experimenting in the kitchen or screaming at the TV while watching NFL games, UFC fights, or Formula 1 events.
In this episode, we discuss:

How writing The Snow Trilogy was a healing journey
