What is a terpene and why is it in my beer???? Trixie and Dee try their best to dive into the world of terpenes as they relate to beer! In this episode the broads taste Karen's Rage from Ale Asylum and 420 Strain G13 IPA from Sweet Water Brewing Company.

Here's the recipe for Beergaritas!! We used Dogfish Head Seaquench Ale and Indeed Brewing Mexican Honey Imperial Lager

2 cans or bottles beer
4 Cups limeade concentrate (such as Minute Maid®)
2 Cups tequila
Ice Cubes
Lime Wedge
Salt for Rim
Here's the Shrimp recipe

1 pound of 21-25 shrimp, peeled, cleaned, & deveined
½ bottle of SHW
1 ½ tbsp honey
½ tbsp chili paste
2 green onions, small diced
1 tsp salt
Combine beer, honey, chili paste, salt and onions into a large bowl and mix well. Add the cleaned shrimp to the mixture and marinate for up to 24 hours. Place shrimp onto bamboo skewers, 5 or so on each. Place skewered shrimp onto a hot, oiled grill, and cook for roughly 2-3 minutes a side. Makes 5 servings.

The broads give their tips on which beers you can drink all day in the summer and not end up passed out with bad tan lines.

How do great breweries start? Turns out pretty organically in the case of Karben4. Friends become biz partners and the rest is beer history.
