So, Danielle was thinking of the movie, "Desperate Lives" when she was talking about the ABC After School Special, but it's on the same sort of "cautionary" tale that saturated the teen TV market in the late 70s/early 80s. Brandi has some valuable tips to consider like emailing teachers so you have a record of what is discussed, as well as making an escalation process that much easier by printing out your discussions and bringing them with you to the principal.
Don't forget to contact the teacher first UNLESS there's gross misconduct, then it's perfectly acceptable to leapfrog straight to the principal, superintendent, or school board.
