    How can we give hope to survivors of brain injuries? Today, we learn from Shari who is involved with “Head for the Cure” as a volunteer, board member, and volunteer at BIN. We have four members who have had brain tumors or cancer in their lives. Shari is a nurse and works with hospice patients. Her goal is to connect and build a community of survivors of brain injuries to serve others.

    This week we are re-releasing our Brain Cancer Survivor Story episode from season one in honor of our late guest and member Annette. 

    Annette joined the clubhouse during 2021 and was a regular attendee of our Zoom programming. She always joined with a smile & a positive encouragement for the day. Annette was known for her frequent selfie posts in our private group for members, often with thoughtful messages of motivation and hope. We will miss Annette dearly, and encourage you to listen back as she shared her experience with brain cancer in this episode.
