Tom, Bekki, and Kaitlyn have a group therapy session to process Racing's tough loss to Orlando. Then we discuss our thoughts on the season so far and what ultimately needs to be done for the team to regain their Big Purp status. We also have the first round of listener submissions for the Mint Mix.

In the second half of our Extra Cut, Tom, Bekki & Kaitlyn talk - or rather shout - about Racing's draw with OL Reign. We laugh. We cry. Tom does an Elvis impression. So it's pretty much par for the course. But we do have one of the best Mint Mix episodes to date, so check it out.

In part one of this week's special Extra Cut episode, we talk to Racing's new general manager Ryan Dell. He's been in Louisville for about a month and Dell joins the pod to talk about his experience so far, his player management philosophies, and how Racing is going to be a premiere destination in the women's soccer world. We also subject him to the world's slowest lightning round known to man. 

Equalizer writer and photographer Taylor Vincent joins Kaitlyn, Tom, and Bekki to discuss Racing's less-than-stellar matches in L.A. and Portland. As a former first-division NCAA softball player and coach, Taylor also shares her insight into the mental side of playing elite sports and what it takes to create a winning culture where it doesn't yet exist.

This week Bekki and Kaitlyn recap Racing’s draw with the Washington Spirit, preview the team’s upcoming matches against Angel City and Portland, and discuss Jaelin Howell’s new role as captain. We also add more songs to the Mint Mix and talk about all things banner-related.

We're back and, trust us, we are just as surprised as you are. After the shocking heartbreak and disgust that came with the release of the investigative reports, Tom and Bekki did a lot of soul-searching and ultimately decided to come back. Two episodes in a row where we discuss an awesome win! What a treat! Tom & Bekki discuss everything about Racing's big trip out west that included a loss in Portland but also what is possibly Racing's greatest win in franchise history in Los Angeles. Also, this episode's title was almost Fugue State Drinking Game, so take that as you will.

We may be crying, but this time they're tears of joy! Racing earned two massive wins in just one weekend! First, they shut out the Orlando Pride for their first win in 13 games and, second, they locked down rookie sensation Savannah DeMelo until 2025. And we're so happy about it that Bekki breaks into song (badly) and Tom does an impression of a 14-year-old Australian mermaid (badly).  Consider yourself forewarned.

Well, that could have gone better. Tom and Bekki discuss another catastrophic loss for Racing and what it means for the players, the coach, and the front office. We also create playlists to adequately express our feels and invent an entirely new mythological creature.

Well, that wasn't fun. We had to reconvene a week early to discuss the very unpleasant 4-0 loss against the Red Stars. Sure, that match stung, but what - if anything - does it say about Racing's season and their trajectory? Tom and Bekki try and work it out in this lengthy episode with special guest Michael Shaw (Fleur de Lis FC).

We've made it to the other side of Hell Week and Tom and Bekki have a lot to say about Racing's most recent results, formation changes, and the coaching conundrum. People are starting to call for Coach Kim to get sacked now that the team is on a 10-game winless streak, but what do Tom and Bekki think? There's also a surprising amount of religious and plant-based analogies just to keep things extra interesting. Believe me, we didn't expect it either.

Summer vacation is over! After a week off, Racing players are back in town preparing for Hell Week (Trademark Tom Benson) when Louisville faces off against 3 top teams in just 7 days here in Lynn Family Stadium. This three game bonanza kicks off the second half of the 2022 season, so Bekki and Tom also discuss what in the first half of the season made us smile, what made us cry, and what left us scratching our heads in confusion. Brandon Condra of the Lavender Legion also joins us to talk about the gameday experience with Racing's foremost supporter's group.

In the second half of this week's episode, Tom and Bekki discuss the Daytona Soccer Fest draw against Orlando and the loss to Gotham. In spite of everything, there's a lot to be positive about - especially after our recent chat with Katie Lund.
