Valentine’s Day is upon us, and as I have been working on my own heart this year, it’s a perfect time of year, with National Heart Month and Valentine’s Day, to share with you.
We are created in His image, and God is love.  Life will throw us curveballs, our hearts can grow weeds and choke out the intended beauty He Created for us.  He desires for our hearts to be aligned with His.  And if you have ever been in love or in love, then you know that butterfly feeling you get in your heart when you fall in love and the other person says”  Be Mine 

Let's dive in to renew our hearts, and when He moves within our hearts, we can breathe easier, our hearts, minds, and souls feel peaceful, and we can echo the words of love in all that we do.  When our hearts get weary and we are mentally and physically exhausted, our hearts reflect that in our words, actions, thoughts, and the way we love those around us.

Hey, Hey, Friends! Christmas season is upon us, and in just a few days, we will celebrate the King’s Birthday and the greatest love the world has ever seen.

Yes, you are rushing to get those last-minute orders in to arrive by Christmas, wrapping, preparing meals, kids wrapping up school for the rest of 2023, and getting ready to host or travel to make Christmas all you desire.

And today, here is what I will ask you to do……stop running and start reflecting.

Hey, Hey, Friends!  It’s deep into August, and school is beginning across the country. Long summer days are winding down, and the carefree feel of summer is waving goodbye.

For some of us we cannot wait to kiss the summer heart goodbye, get back to a schedule, and for some of us our hearts are far from ready to wave goodbye to these hazy and sunny summer days.

Today we are going to dive into anger.  For some of us, anger is not in our DNA; it takes a lot to push us over the edge to get angry.  For others, anger is a bit more of a challenge, and it can creep up without notice when a car cuts you off in traffic, a text or call, or a situation that pushes your buttons can hit the anger button.  Anger can also arise from social injustices, watching the news, an action of a partner, and the list can go on.

 Today we are taking hold of our futures.  No matter the world's circumstances, the guilt you are struggling with, the pain, the disappointment, the feelings you are unraveling, and the easy way to numb or hide out today and friends, there is so much more for you.  He is about to do a new thing.

Hebrews 11 is a chapter in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. Often referred to as the "Faith Hall of Fame" or the "Faith Chapter," it provides a powerful exposition on the nature and significance of faith in the lives of believers. The chapter begins with a definition of faith and then presents a series of examples of people from the Old Testament who demonstrated great faith in God.

Hey, Hey Friends!! It’s July, and the question is, no matter what happened in the last six months, this is the time to press forward. Maybe you're on track with our goals and resolutions, you have momentum, or maybe you are laughing and can't even remember this year's resolutions.

With so many celebrations and getting ready for summer, we can find ourselves on adventures traveling down new routes with open roads as our hair swirls in the breeze and feeling like we no cares in the world.   It’s a feeling we want to hold onto. It’s a memory that always sticks with us.  Road trips can be good for the soul, and it opens up our hearts to take in more of our surrounding and connect with the people we encounter along the way. 

Jesus desires for us to have a life filled with great adventure.  He created us to be creative humans with curiosity.  We were not meant to live a life through foggy windows and smeared-up sunglasses.  He wants our vision to be clear so we can see the road ahead for HIS adventures.  

Do you ever feel that you are seeing darkness and unsure how to use your kingdom authority to release the light? Or maybe you, at this moment, are walking through darkness and feel like you are stumbling through life with so many questions? We were not meant to go alone; listen to this week's episode, and get the guide to "Bring Your Light." We want to flip the darkness into light. There is a good saying:   Hikers on the Appalachian trail have this mantra “hike your own hike”—that is, resist the urge to compare how many miles you cover in a day to how far other hikers are traveling.  Today we are diving into the Highlight Reels.

Last week, I caught myself grabbing my phone to do something quickly before calling it a day, and 30 minutes later, I found myself in a different state of mind than doing the message I wanted to send to someone.  I trapped myself in the Highlight Reels of Life.  Some of the reels were fun and inspirational; influencers are sharing, self-promotion, living an epic lifestyle, a pulled-together life, and a perfect picture of one’s life. 

As I thought about the 30 minutes that flew by, it made me think about so many things.  First, I fully admit I use reels; I share the content of all that I mentioned, depending on the day/week or what is happening in my life.   My mind was flooded with questions.   Listen now on how to move from the Highlight Reels to find real contentment. 

 Happy Valentines Day, Friends!  Today wanted to remind you are loved.  And to stop writing love letters to yourself and read the ones from Jesus. Today we are taking a glimpse of How Great His Love Is For You! 

Our new year’s resolutions. Goals, diets. Workout plans, setting out to get organized and to book more travel, or maybe we just jumped on the trend that others are doing, or maybe? Just go with the flow. 

Those are all excellent for having a focus and setting the course of direction for the year.  And today, we will talk about the direction for setting sail with Him.

If we are really honest, we want to make changes, become more, tackle those giants within, become less distracted, and be more present. The above deck of the boat looks too inviting not to kick back into a lounge chair as we sunbathe and capture those sunsets as we sip on our favorite beverage and read the latest juicy novel to get lost in.  The deck life allows us to live comfortably and lets us pause life for just a moment. 

This year what if nothing changed?  Would you be satisfied?  Would you accept it was just not your time? Your year?  Or not meant to be? Today dive in to LIVE THE LIFE OF ADVENTURE YOU'VE DREAMED OF...

Hey Hey, Friends!   On the last episode of Cara Podcast, we dove into the hope of the season and the wisdom of the Wise Men, and this week, we will dive a bit deeper into the boldness of faith!
 I believe for so many of you that this season has a gift and a wonder that will spark and ignite within for you to experience The Wonder of the World fully.  He is the wonder of the world that sets miracles into motion.

WOW, there is  30 days left in 2022, and this is the season of expectancy and anticipation!  This season can be filled with so much hope and joy, and it can also be filled with less than expectancy.  Today we will dive into the hope of the season and the wisdom from the Wise Men.
Those wise men were pretty amazing! You see, they came with expectancy, with what they had, and boy, they were super wise as they followed the star to come worship and provide gifts to a baby boy. 
This week we will dive into one of the gifts they brought.  I think any one of us would love the gift of gold.  Gold is precious.  Gold today, on 12/1, just took a significant price increase to 1800 an ounce, the biggest leap in 2 years.  So that Gold that was brought to the baby over 2000 years ago that was a gift reserved for kings was just as valuable as it is in 2022.

Love comes out of the heart.   Today we will dive into the heart issues and hit the slow-down button this holiday season to experience a season of gratitude that will become the new source of joy in your lives.  My heart desires you all to feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude deep in your heart, bones, and souls as the season's stress becomes flipped to gratitude. 

 The newest episode of the Cara Podcast dropped. Our faith can be shaken in our current world, and we can find ourselves longing for something different. How do we turn that longing into living in possibility full of faith to walk in step with Him as He leads us? Faith can cut through the circumstances, the shame, the hurt, the guilt, the fear, and allows us to see His promises clearly.

Hey Hey, Friends! How are you? As we head into Labor Day weekend and enjoy the last weekend of summer fun as we stand on the edge of fall, knocking on the door.

When I think of standing on the edge, it feels like so many are on edge that the battle is real for our hearts. And darkness is trying to throw those stones to fill our hearts with rocks that become hardened and let love lose its grip.
