The attack on what we stand for and what we believe in is well underway, and very little is being done to counteract it...

Normally we think of wars as involving shooting, tanks, warplanes, artillery barrages, amphibious assaults and graphic videos on the evening news. But modern warfare can take on unusual, even grotesque, configurations which, in some cases, may be even more threatening than the conventional kind.

It is well known that the synthetic opioid fentanyl and its precursors are manufactured in China, exported to Mexico, and sold primarily to the Sinaloa and Jalisco drug cartels among others at a meager price. The cartels then manufacture the actual finished product in pill form and bring it across our open border to be sold to our vulnerable and unsuspecting young people. 

The casualties are predictable and yet staggering: 72,000 Americans die each year from fentanyl overdoses alone. The drug is sometimes disguised in the form of other medications or more benign recreational drugs as a trap for the unsuspecting. Drug overdoses are now the leading cause of death in the United States among young people between the ages of 18 and 44. This was not true even just a few years ago. 

All of this would seem to be counter-productive. Why would the Chinese and the drug cartels want to kill their own customers? In the context of China’s war to dominate the world, it should be understood that the purpose of this huge international program is not to create a profit so much as it is to weaken and damage America as much as possible. It is part of the Chinese campaign of hegemony to bring our nation and its people under their domination.

If there is any doubt about the success of this campaign against our complacent population, a quick review of the casualty counts brings the entire situation into sharp focus.  The battle deaths from our last four wars are listed as follows: 

• The Korean Conflict: 33,739
• Vietnam War: 47,434
• Persian Gulf War: 1,565
• Global War on Terror: 6,852
• Total:  89,590     

The exact number of deaths from Chinese imported drugs for the last three years is not known. However, at 72,000 plus per year, the death toll could easily exceed 180,000. This would make it approximately double the deaths from our last four wars combined.

Why AMA backs Texas doctors’ lawsuit on No Surprises Act provision

Dr. Haller filed a federal lawsuit in federal challenging the “No Surprises Act,” a bill passed in 2020, which barred doctors in hospitals from billing patients fair rates if they are out of network.

No Surpise: The No Surprises Act Punishes Doctors, Panders to Insurance Carriers

The AMA and the American Hospital Association (AHA) support a Texas Medical Association (TMA) lawsuit challenging the Biden administration’s final rule implementing the independent-dispute resolution process created by Congress and contained in the No Surprises Act.

“Hospitals and doctors strongly believe that no patient should fear receiving a surprise medical bill and that patients should be kept out of the middle of any billing disputes between providers and commercial health insurance companies,” says a joint statement from the AMA and AHA. The organizations’ focus continues to be on ensuring that the independent dispute resolution process between health plans and physicians (or hospitals) outlined in the statute is implemented fairly by the Administration.

The two associations said they plan to file an amicus brief supporting the TMA lawsuit (PDF), which was filed in the U.S. District Court the Eastern District of Texas and names as plaintiffs the U.S. departments of Labor, Treasury, and Health and Human Services, along with the secretaries who lead each department.

The AMA and AHA also noted that the amicus brief will explain how the final rule departs from congressional intent—just as the September 2021 interim final rule did.

“The Texas court previously held that the interim final rule impermissibly rewrote clear statutory terms by placing a thumb on the scale in favor of commercial insurers,” the AMA-AHA statement says. “The final rule suffers from the same problems.”

This is the story of how Gordon Knight’s family business was targeted for destruction by the Canadian Civil Service, envious of Knight's success and wanting the lucrative monopoly that would result from crushing him. 

It’s the story of this one man defending himself, his business, and his family against the might of the marshaled forces of the Federal Government.  And it’s about corruption run by that Government in its own country, and in the US, and throughout the world. The bureaucrats, it turned out, weren’t targeting Gordon Knight as a one-off; it was part of a much broader practice.

The bureaucrats were running cross-border counterfeiting operations, pay-to-play schemes, selling legislative votes, tax fraud, they were caught falsifying import documents, safety testing results, fabricating entire certifications, and all in trade for money. And Americans died as a result. 

This same Civil Service caught in corruption was caught rigging the trials that threatened to expose it. Then they arranged for a life-sentence in prison for Gordon Knight, on conjured charges of course, but unofficially because this one man had reported civil service conduct in public, posted with voluminous evidence.

His position unsafe in Canada, Gordon Knight fled the country. Gradually, the story of one man fighting back had become the story of massive government corruption within the Civil Service in Canada and in the US, collusion between government departments in both countries and between the Canadian civil service and the judges of the courts; a relatable story of a real Deep State advancing its own interests at the expense of the people it’s supposed to be serving.

This is the record of one little guy in the fight of his life. It’s told in date entries, week-by-week reporting of civil service conduct and defensive moves to stay afloat. It’s the story of what it takes to survive and to win against the longest odds. An instruction manual, if you like, for sinking the corrupted ship of state. Expect the woke left to try to smear you as a “fascist” if you object to children being taught to hate themselves or others because of their race.  A recent op-ed in The Guardian has warned us. It headlines the word “fascism” to describe Florida’s 2022 legislation that puts the brakes on some of the most divisive and abusive ideologies being forced into American schools and boardrooms.

One of those curricula is Critical Race Theory, a particularly destructive product of identity politics. It aims to instill resentment and guilt in Americans by relentlessly preaching that America, and specifically “white” Americans, are irredeemably racist. It’s akin to coercive thought reform. But those who speak out against such psychologically manipulative programs seem to have emboldened many more Americans to openly support legislation like Florida’s. 

However, as the Guardian op-ed illustrates, proponents of agendas like CRT are reacting to this refreshing outspokenness with ever more demonization.  Their smear tactics vilify those who don’t support such lesson plans for impressionable children or training for new employees. “Fascist” is just one of countless smear words that circulate in Big Media to cut off conversation. Others include “bigot,” “hater,” “white supremacist,” “domestic terrorist,” “Nazi,” “homophobic,” “transphobic,” “domestic terrorist,” “conspiracy theorist,” etc.

CRT simply forbids us to see one another as unique persons each with differing perspectives, personalities, experiences, and sufferings. For example, Kendi has written that color-blindness is “a mask to hide racism.” I imagine this is exactly why Martin Luther King’s most iconic quote is nowhere to be found among the 15 quotations engraved on the memorial that was dedicated to him in Washington DC in 2011. To judge people “by the content of their character” rather than the color of their skin is anathema to CRT propaganda.

U.S. Should Turn Ukraine War Over to Its European Allies

A Long Day's Journey Into Putin's Night

Instead of a quick Russian victory, Russia’s second invasion of Ukraine seems to be settling into a drawn-out slugfest. After Ukrainian soldiers surprisingly thwarted Russia’s offensive on Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city, the gleeful United States rallied NATO nations to provide the Ukrainians with tens of billions in weapons technology.

After some Ukrainian battlefield successes in throwing back the Russians in the east and south of Ukraine, which gained back some Russian-occupied territory, the United States and its allies gradually succumbed to the vision of decisively handing the Russian Bear with a stinging military defeat.

Yet, Russia still has some advantages. By essentially invading Crimea and parts of industrialized eastern Ukraine in 2014 and combining this conquered territory with that of its initial gains in the east and south in the 2022 invasion, the Russians have given the Ukrainians a Herculean task to recapture such a large land area against a more significant and sometimes well-dug-in occupying force.

Unless the reported low morale of the Russian force causes it to suddenly collapse—as German troops did in 1918 during World War I—the war likely will turn into a long, bloody slog.

Currently, the United States provides more military aid to Ukraine than all other countries combined. If the Europeans lack some of the weapons needed by Ukraine, they can buy them from the United States and send them on. Through several recent presidential administrations, the U.S. military establishment has been trying to “pivot to Asia” to deal with the much bigger threat of a rising China, but the strategically overstretched United States—U.S. national debt has reached $31.5 trillion—has repeatedly been diverted from this objective by self-inflicted quagmires in the Middle East and providing tens of billions of aid to Ukraine.

Second, the Russian fighting force has been shown to be a paper tiger, despite its large mass alone likely being able to lock up the war with Ukraine in stalemate for perhaps years—much like Russia’s other foreign conflicts.

Third, a better solution would be to reach a settlement that gives both countries a face-saving way out and creates the best chance for long-term stability—that is, the absence of future wars over the same ground.

In the longer term, the two exhausted parties might agree to hold a referendum, or referendums, in Russian-speaking areas of Ukraine to let the people decide whether to be part of Russia, Ukraine or even a newly independent country. Such self-determination can often help settle conflicts based on ethnic or religious strife.

Two American citizens are dead after a violent kidnapping and shootout in Mexico that is making headlines around the world. 

 Two others in the traveling party that were injured are now hospitalized back in the U.S. after receiving an armored escort via ambulance in a convoy of Mexican military and American National Guard trucks with mounted machine guns. 

 The two survivors were taken by the FBI to Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas where they remain hospitalized and under guard. 

 The four had traveled together from North Carolina so one of them could get a cosmetic medical procedure, a tummy tuck, from a Mexican doctor in the border city of Matamoros. 

 Each March and April, tens of thousands of American college students go to Mexico for spring break, and many thousands more head south of the border throughout the year looking for fun in the sun. 

 Clarity from Chaos guest and Travel expert Janet Sanders lived in Mexico until earlier this year and nearly lost her life to the corrupt local police officials under the drug cartel's power. She strongly cautions any American citizen from going to Mexico, especially now with tensions on the rise there. Sanders is urging parents of college students to keep their kids out of Mexico at all costs. “College kids who are there to party won’t make good decisions under the best of circumstances, and now, bad choices could turn deadly,” says Sanders.

“These Americans that were kidnapped by the drug cartels in Mexico were murdered, and we still haven’t declared the cartels a military target. It’s way past time that we authorize U.S. military force against the cartels, and protect our people", said Sanders, who is currently writing a book about her own dangerous experience in Mexico and oversees the travel advisory website https://mexiknowinfo.com/

 “My heart goes out to the families of my fellow Americans murdered in Matamoros. It is only because of intense pressure from the media and the U.S. government that the two others are alive. This violence happens every day in parts of Mexico, and no one usually hears about it. That must stop, and I’ll do everything I can to help” said Sanders.

Through some mutual friends, I was recommended as a guest for Season 2 and was excited that Pete Hegseth included me in the series. I am so grateful to have been included in the final episode. I’m pleased that Season 2 ended on a positive note with Classical Conversations and the Association of Christian Classical Schools highlighted.

The Case for an Amer'CAN' Hall of Fame

With all the halls of fame for sports, music, heritage, and other categories, I propose we create a new gallery of fame celebrating the most outstanding AmeriCANS in history.

What, or better yet who is an AmeriCAN? AmeriCANS come from all sexes, nationalities, creeds, faiths, and colors. They were born in the United States or arrived as quickly as possible. Their commonality is living entire lives leaving legacies of their CAN-do accomplishments. None were perfect, and to a person, they overcame adversity and setbacks, reaching their highest AmeriCAN achievements.

Yes, there are nominees on my list below that we celebrate in many other ways, but a more significant number of people we may not know deserve appropriate recognition. Your hometown hero is the person or persons that make a big difference but never get much of an attaboy for their efforts. A big part of being an AmeriCAN is that most of them wouldn’t want the praise anyway; that’s not why they do what they do in the first place.

So, here’s the inaugural list of nominees for the AmeriCANS Hall Of Fame:

• George Washington - No list would be credible without beginning with the father of our country. His perseverance through the darkest days of the American Revolution was indispensable in our independence. Citizens revered him so significantly he could have been king or president for life. • Madam C.J. Walker- The first African American woman self-made millionaire building a cosmetics company in the 19th century. Born in 1867, she overcame racism, sexism, a lack of education, and poverty. Upon her success, she mentored the next generation and was a philanthropist.  We have a biopic about Tonya Harding and not this lady?
• Helen Keller – She lost her sight and hearing at 19 months but demonstrated what one could achieve despite physical disabilities.
• Stephen Jobs – Founder of Apple Computer Corporation, built the first computers in his garage.
• Hedy Lamarr – Yes, the actress, but she also invented frequency hopping benefitting WIFI, GPS, and Bluetooth. Her inventions contributed to victory in World War II and the 21st-century technology of today and tomorrow.
• Billy Graham – Evangelist and counselor to 12 U.S. presidents
• Pat Tillman – Bravely walked away from his NFL pro football career to serve during the early days of the War On Terror and lost his life in Afghanistan
• Mark Twain – Author and speaker who brought out the best of America in his stories.
• Sacagawea – Essential guide for the Lewis and Clark expedition across America.
• Martin Luther King Jr. –Pastor and civil rights leader who significantly influenced the advancement of people of color through non-violent means

Sarasota, FL - The Zelenko Foundation, along with many community partners, will hold a press conference on March 20, 2023, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital to demand an external investigation into the COVID-19 hospital protocols that potentially endangered, injured, or killed patients. The conference will be held at 9:30 am in front of Sarasota Hospital, and all media outlets are invited to attend.

The Zelenko Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving public health by supporting medical research, advocacy, and education. The foundation's founder, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, was a highly respected physician who has treated COVID-19 patients successfully with early intervention protocols.

We believe Sarasota Memorial Hospital, by implementing COVID-19 hospital protocols that were not evidence-based and potentially harmful, has engaged in reckless behavior thus conceivably endangering, injuring, or killing patients. Patients have reported being denied effective treatments such as Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and other treatments, while being subjected to experimental therapies with unknown risks and benefits.

The Zelenko Foundation believes that Sarasota Memorial Hospital has violated the basic rights of patients to receive the best available medical care, and that an independent investigation is necessary to determine the full extent of the harm caused. The foundation also believes that Governor DeSantis should intervene to ensure that patients' rights are protected and that hospitals are held accountable for their actions.

Ann Vandersteel, Co-Chair of The Zelenko Foundation, said, "It is unacceptable that patients in Sarasota Memorial Hospital have been denied access to effective treatments that could have saved their lives. The Zelenko Foundation demands an independent investigation into the hospital's COVID-19 protocols to determine the extent of the harm caused and hold those responsible accountable. We urge Governor DeSantis to take action to protect the rights of patients and ensure that hospitals are held accountable for their actions."

TRIPLE VAXED, DOUBLE BOOSTED DEATH…

Clarity from Chaos guest: Mr. Edward Dowd, author of "Cause Unknown": The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 & 2022 .

What is killing healthy young Americans?

2020 saw a spike in deaths in America, smaller than you might imagine during a pandemic, some of which could be attributed to COVID and to initial treatment strategies that were not effective. But then, in 2021, the stats people expected went off the rails. The CEO of the OneAmerica insurance company publicly disclosed that during the third and fourth quarters of 2021, death in people of working age (18–64) was 40 percent higher than it was before the pandemic. Significantly, the majority of the deaths were not attributed to COVID.

A 40 percent increase in deaths is literally earth-shaking. Even a 10 percent increase in excess deaths would have been a 1-in-200-year event. But this was 40 percent.

The book begins with a close look at the actual human reality behind the statistics, and when you see the people who are represented by the dry term Excess Mortality, it’s difficult to accept so many unexpected sudden deaths of young athletes, known to be the healthiest among us. Similarly, when lots of healthy teenagers and young adults die in their sleep without obvious reason, collapse and die on a family outing, or fall down dead while playing sports, that all by itself raises an immediate public health concern. Or at least it used to.

Ask yourself if you recall seeing these kinds of things occurring during your own life—in junior high? In high school? In college? How many times in your life did you hear of a performer dropping dead on stage in mid-performance? Your own life experience and intuition will tell you that what you’re about to see is not normal. 

Or at least it wasn’t normal before 2021.
