Episode 47: I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

Episode 47: I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

For this episode of Combs Crew, we watched 1998's "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer," the pretty bad sequel to "I Know What You Did Last Summer." The film's title makes no sense, but then again, neither does the film's plot! Jeffrey Combs plays the snippy manager of a resort hotel in the Bahamas, where the film takes place for some reason. Have you seen this movie? What did you think?...

    Episode 46: Motivational Growth

    Episode 46: Motivational Growth

In Episode 46 of "Combs Crew," we complain about MOTIVATIONAL GROWTH, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! Okay! This movie has a lot of ideas, but in our personal opinion, we don't think it executed on those ideas very well. Warning: if you really love this movie, consider skipping this episode of Combs Crew, because we don't have a ton of nice things to say about this one...

    Episode 45: Death Falls

    Episode 45: Death Falls

In this episode, we watched 1991's "Death Falls," a film about an old man who needs PANTS! Where are his PANTS? He steals some PANTS from another man, who then has no PANTS. Jeffrey Combs stars as Lonnie Hawk, a man who screams a lot. It's a great movie! Have you seen it? Let us know in the comments!

    Episode 44: Dead Man Walking

    Episode 44: Dead Man Walking

In episode 44 of COMBS CREW, we watched "Dead Man Walking," a post-apocalyptic film where Combs and another guy walk, and sometimes drive, around a junkyard. It was pretty ok! Join us as we discuss the Combs's "Chaz," the amazing orange-haired villain Decker, and the tragic Pookie.

Episode 43: Jake and the Fatman

Episode 43: Jake and the Fatman

For this podcast episode, we watched an episode of "Jake and the Fatman," a largely-forgotten crime drama that ran from 1987 into the early nineties. Jeffrey Combs plays a one-off villain named "Alan Shuba," who uses his majestic beard in order to break out of prison. It was a pretty good episode of television! Join us as we discuss this episode!

Episode 42: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Weyoun Spectacular Part Two

Episode 42: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Weyoun Spectacular Part Two

For this episode of Combs Crew, we watched 100,000,000 episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, starting with the season 4 finale (when the Federation loses DS9 to the Dominion) and continuing until halfway through season 5 (when the Federation wins it back). It's a really great string of episodes, maybe the best in the whole show, with tons of Dukat, Rom, Odo, and of course, Weyoun!

    Episode 41: The Lurking Fear

    Episode 41: The Lurking Fear

For episode 41, we watched "THE LURKING FEAR," a weird and inept H.P. Lovecraft tale where Jeffrey Combs plays "Doc Haggis," an alcoholic doctor who teams up with a woman named Katherine... for some reason... to destroy one or more zombies, or monsters, or demons, or something. This one wasn't so hot, but it was such a confusing mess that it was almost entertaining as a result!

Have you seen "The Lurking Fear?" What did you think? Let us know in the comments!

    Episode 40: Necronomicon

    Episode 40: Necronomicon

For our 40th episode, we watched "NECRONOMICON," a collection of three short stories where Jeffrey Combs plays H.P. Lovecraft with the help of some creepy facial prosthetics. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either!

Have you seen NECRONOMICON? What did you think? Let us know in the comments!

    Episode 39: Abominable

    Episode 39: Abominable

For episode 39 we watched "ABOMINABLE," a 2006 horror film about a bigfoot that terrorizes a cabin full of women while the main character, a wheelchair-bound man, watches helplessly from next door. It was OK! Jeffrey Combs plays the owner of a gas station and has a great scene with Lance Hendriksen. Also, a number of Seinfeld guest-stars make an appearance. It wasn't the worst thing we've seen, that's for sure! Join us as we discuss ABOMINABLE!!!

    Episode 38: She Spies

    Episode 38: She Spies

In this episode, we reluctantly discuss an episode of "SHE SPIES," a pretty bad exploitative spy show from the 2010s. Jeffrey Combs plays a mysterious jewel thief named Indigo, and they made some, uh, interesting choices with the character. Basically, this show sucked!! But Jeffrey Combs was entertaining, as always!

Have you seen "SHE SPIES?" Why? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments!

    Episode 37: Beethoven's Treasure Tail

    Episode 37: Beethoven's Treasure Tail

In this episode, we watched "Beethoven's Treasure Tail," the eighth (!!!) film in the "Beethoven" franchise. It was pretty terrible, except of course for Jeffrey Combs's character: a conman named Fritz Bruchschnauser with an incredible German accent and a handful of great costumes. Beethoven does practically nothing, the main character does nothing, but boy oh boy does Combs commit to this character!

Episode 36: ALIENS: Ride at the Speed of Fright

Episode 36: ALIENS: Ride at the Speed of Fright

In this very special episode, we spend 70 minutes discussing a 6-minute simulator ride called "ALIENS: Ride at the Speed of Fright." This short-lived ride (directed by Stuart Gordon!) stars Jeffrey Combs as "Hyer," a sniveling coward who mirrors Bill Paxton's character from the movie "Aliens." We had a fun time discussing this one! Have you seen it? What do you think? What do you think of simulators? Do you like crunchy peanut butter, smooth peanut butter, or no peanut butter at all? Episode 35: Robot Jox

    Episode 35: Robot Jox

In this episode, we talk about ROBOT JOX (1989), a post-apocalyptic mech film which isn't bad... except for the lack of Combs! Jeffrey Combs only appears for around 1 minute of screen time, which puts a serious damper on our enjoyment of the film. However, we still had fun watching this one... how can you NOT have fun watching mechs duke it out?

Have you seen ROBOT JOX? What did you think? What is a "Jox?" Let us know in the comments!

Episode 34: The Twilight Zone (2002): The Placebo Effect

Episode 34: The Twilight Zone (2002): The Placebo Effect

In this episode, we watched an episode of the 2002 reboot of "The Twilight Zone," a show none of us knew existed, starring Jeffrey Combs as a hypochondriac who accidentally destroys the planet. This is a funny show... very 00s, with a strangely intense heavy metal intro and Forest Whitaker (!!!) as the host. Have you see this show? What did you think? Let us know in the comments! And for the love of God, please like and subscribe!

    Episode 33: Love and a .45

    Episode 33: Love and a .45

For episode 33 we watched "LOVE AND A .45," a stylish, weird, fun, yet kinda lackluster dramedy from 1994. Jeffrey Combs plays "DINOSAUR BOB," a besuited Texas assassin who likes speed, dancing, bug guns, and tattoo artistry. We had fun watching this one! We also spend a lot of time listing off things that were popular in 1994.

Have you seen "Love and a .45?" What were your thoughts? Sound off in the comments. Also, please, for the love of God, please like, review, subscribe, etc!

Episode 32: Star Trek: Lower Decks: Where Pleasant Fountains Lie

Episode 32: Star Trek: Lower Decks: Where Pleasant Fountains Lie

On this episode of Combs Crew, we checked out "Where Pleasant Fountains Lie," from season 2 of "Star Trek: Lower Decks." The reason we checked this out, of course, is because Jeffrey Combs guest-stars as "Lord Agimus," a scheming, tiny evil computer. None of us have really seen Lower Decks before, but we had a lot of fun! It's a funny episode and we (surprisingly) don't have many complaints! We also spend a very, very long time talking about licorice for some reason.

We hope you like this episode! Have you seen Lower Decks? What are your thoughts? Let us know through Instagram or Twitter! Also, please like, subscribe, and rate the podcast if you're a Combs Crew fan!

    (CRAMPTON CREW) Episode 31: Paisley

    (CRAMPTON CREW) Episode 31: Paisley

In this episode of CRAMPTON CREW, we watched a short called "Paisley," in which Barbara plays a wealthy Los Angeles widow named Mrs. Morrow. Her simple world is turned upside-down when a meteor lands in her pool and a killer Furby emerges. It's probably symbolism for something! "Paisley" is short and sweet, with tons of character. If you haven't seen it, check it out on Vimeo!

    Episode 30: Beyond Re-Animator

    Episode 30: Beyond Re-Animator

For our THIRTIETH episode, we watched the THIRD Re-Animator film: "Beyond Re-Animator," from 2003. It was... okay! Not as depressing as we thought it might be, with a second half that gets genuinely fun and exciting!

It's a little sad to finish off the "Re-Animator" series... No more West for us! What should we watch next? Let us know in the comments!

    Episode 29: The Phantom Empire

    Episode 29: The Phantom Empire

For episode 29, we watched "The Phantom Empire," a weird, no-budget adventure story where Jeffrey Combs plays "Andrew Paris," an intern archaeologist that all of the ladies love. This movie has everything... robots! Dinosaurs! Monsters! An underground empire! How can a movie with so much feel like it has so little?...

Have you seen this one? What did you think? Follow us on Instagram and Twitter and let us know!

    Episode 28: Freddy's Nightmares

    Episode 28: Freddy's Nightmares

On this episode, we watched episode 17 of *taking a deep breath* "Freddy's Nightmares: A Nightmare On Elm Street: The Series," titled "Love Stinks." It's the craziest 80s garbage you can possibly imagine, and it nearly broke us. HOWEVER, Jeffrey Combs wears an incredible "Italian Chef" costume and made the ordeal worth it! Join us as our sanity slips away discussing "Freddy's Nightmares!"
