Meet Matt Bourbon from the Bourbon Brothers

Meet Matt Bourbon from the Bourbon Brothers

Raising Registered Texas Longhorns was a pipe dream we thought was just out of reach for us. We would talk about owning a big longhorn farm as we lived on .2 acre in a neighborhood house in the suburbs. In 2021 we finally decide it was time to give it a shot. We built our house, grew our family by 2 boys and took a chance on making our dream a reality. We couldn’t be more excited to join the longhorn community.

Meet Bob Larson with RC Larson Longhorns

Meet Bob Larson with RC Larson Longhorns

RC Larson Longhorns began their journey with Longhorn cattle in 2000 as a lawn ornament. We enjoyed watching our new little herd. We had no goals in mind at the time. Bob's history as a dairyman in Tillamook County brought an abundance of knowledge to raising cattle. We immediately began an artificial insemination program. In 2005 we began our embryo program beginning with conventional flushes then in 2012 invetro fertilization (IVF) program was started.

Meet Collin Wyatt with Diamond B Ranch

Meet Collin Wyatt with Diamond B Ranch

Diamond B Ranch was founded like many other programs in the industry, for the love of beautiful longhorns. We all know that a single longhorn in the pasture multiplies quickly, and for us, that first longhorn turned into a passion. Soon, a few head built a large herd and became a working ranch. We are located in the heart of the Texas Panhandle; while the grass is not always greener here, it is nutrient-rich and grows healthy, happy cattle. In 2021, we purchased our main herd sire, Cut’N Dried, and will be building our future around his boast-worthy genetics.

Meet McKenzie Rienhardt with Rienhardt Ranch & Why-Am-I Cattle Co.

Rienhardt Ranch & Why-Am-I Cattle Co. was established in the summer of 2021 when the family decided they would like to pursue cattle again. The foundation herd started with four animals from Gainesville, Texas, and has been continuously expanding since. A family affair, each family member has played a significant role in the success of the ranch. Whether it be traveling, physical labor, running social media platforms, or fielding inquiries - they have loved working together to accomplish goals the family created.

Meet Dan & Sam Stoltz with Might As Well Ranch

Meet Dan & Sam Stoltz with Might As Well Ranch

The Might As Well Ranch gets its name from the well thought out plan that started this venture. We decided that we would buy a couple of calves for the boys. It would be good for them to learn some responsibility and may be a way for them to make a little money selling calves. Here is where the Might As Well comes in. If you have to build fence, buy supplies and take care of two of them, might as well get a few more.
