Meet Keith and Jane Morgan with Arroyo Blanco Ranch

Meet Keith and Jane Morgan with Arroyo Blanco Ranch
Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Arroyo Blanco Ranch was established in 2015. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to be stewards of this land and we seek to honor the heritage of those who lived and worked to build and preserve it. Longhorn cattle are a fundamental piece of that heritage. We acquired our first registered longhorn cows in 2019 and haven’t looked back since then! We seek to breed longhorn cattle with great dispositions, twisty horns and solid frames – hardy, gentle cattle that preserve a link to our history and look forward to the future. Come visit us to learn more about our herd.

Meet Jenna & Ronnie Petty from RP3 Cattle Company

Meet Jenna & Ronnie Petty from RP3 Cattle Company

The idea of RP3 Cattle Co started when I purchased the property to build a house and raise my two boys on open land outside of a traditional neighborhood. My goal for the business even though it's part time and more of a hobby is to breed the best conformationally correct Texas longhorn we can. Yes, we want the “Long” Horns but we also want the animal to be correct and serve a purpose that is growing good healthy grass-fed beef! Teaching our kids to get out and see how this works and having room to roam makes its all worth it to me even if we never make a dime!

Meet Buster Butler with Butler Texas Longhorns

Meet Buster Butler with Butler Texas Longhorns

Today we're talking with Buster Butler from Butler Texas Longhorns. At Butler Texas Longhorns they focus on raising top-quality registered Longhorn cattle. They pay distinct attention to color, face, structural correctness, horn shape, horn length, and a cow’s ability to stay in good shape. They view a cow with excellent conformation as one that raises a fat calf annually on a predominantly grass diet, and we judge our cattle greatly by the quality of the calves they raise. These qualities are what set the breed apart, and they are excited to share the future of their herd with you.
