We were both entertained and inspired seeing Jason Momoa doing the haka at the #Aquaman premiere so we had to do an episode on it. The roots of local culture in Hawaii run deep so seeing dramatic displays we can relate to in mainstream media is always a blast! From #Baywatch to #GoT, Jason has always brought Hawaiian flair to his roles and we will continue to cheer him on, along with all the other local boys and girls out there doing their thing! It’s just what we do. #pride

Video games, especially fighting games, have been a huge part of our lives for many years. So this week we want to share our experiences with fighting games while spotlighting one of the Fighting Game Community's (FGC) most polarizing celebrities, Dominique "SonicFox" McLean. Despite still being in college, he has been able to dominate professionally in multiple fighting games. He also simultaneously represents three distinct minority groups as a self-described “black, queer, furry” and serves as a tremendous inspiration to his many followers.

This week we took a detour from our normal content rotation because we had to share our thoughts on the legendary Stan Lee, who sadly passed away a couple of days ago. Truth be told, we had already recorded most of this episode previously but we didn't plan on releasing it for a little while. That being said, we decided to accelerate the schedule because we wouldn't be doing Stan justice by holding off any longer. We grew up through the comic book revival of the 90's and thus Stan Lee has been a huge inspiration throughout our lives. Through countless cameos and public appearances, he has consistently remained a recurring pop culture icon, even in his waning years. His legacy shall be everlasting through the amazing stories he has built and countless lives he has touched.
