Darren spends his life as a private investigator so no surprise he dug deep into the world of David Lee Roth! He has put out a great book "DLR- How David Lee Roth Changed the World" .

We have a great conversation about David and Darren shares all the connections he made along the way with past members of David's bands and in his inner circle. We talk about his early time with Van Halen, his solo career and what's happening today with the man more popular than the Nike Swoosh! 

It's all things DLR! Buckle up!

I found this interview that was done in 2018! It was with VICKY HAMILTON from Los Angeles who worked in booking and promoting many "Glam Bands" In the 80s. She be-friended and worked closely with Guns and Roses, Poison, Motley Crue and Stryper to name but a few.  This was back on MAX INK RADIO for BS LIVE ROCKS RADIO. 

I am writing a book in 2024 about interviews I have done over the years and came across this fun story.  Vicky worked for David Geffen when the label was amongst the biggest in Hollywood.

Legendary rockers, Night Ranger are releasing a brand-new live album titled, 40 Years and a Night with Contemporary Youth Orchestra, that is due out October 20, 2023. The live album and live performance footage will be available on CD, Vinyl (including limited editions), DVD, Blu-ray, and digitally across all streaming platforms worldwide. 

This release comes as they approach the date it was recorded, just one year ago in Cleveland on November 9th 2022. This one-of-a-kind one night only Night Ranger performance with Cleveland’s own Contemporary Youth Orchestra was at the Key Bank State Theatre in Cleveland, OH on November 9, 2022. The Contemporary Youth Orchestra (CYO) is made up of 80+ musicians aged 12 to 18, representing more than 40 schools in Ohio. It fosters students’ technical ability and creative growth in both an inspiring and supportive community. The students performed alongside Night Ranger throughout their entire set and these unique renditions of their greatest hits was also their first time ever performing with a symphonic orchestra live. All of this is what made this a truly once in a lifetime Night Ranger concert event.

We talk about the bands beginnings in the early 90s, the importance of great physical and mental health, the first record and playing at Much Music and of course the NEW album Bombs and Battlescars and the recording of the great Triumph tune SPELLBOUND---and we talk about drummers!!  

CONEY HATCH CELEBRATES 40 YEARS WITH A NEW ALBUM ‘POSTCARD FROM GERMANY’ – OUT NOVEMBER 10TH

PERFORMING LIVE AT THE EL MOCAMBO - NOVEMBER 11th

Coney Hatch, one of Canada’s iconic rock bands will release a live album titled “Postcard From Germany” via Anthem Records this Friday November 10th. In celebration of this release, Coney Hatch will perform their final live performance of 2023 at the famed El Mocambo in Toronto on Saturday, November 11th.

“We’ve been halfway around the world this summer with shows at Sweden Rock and Hamburg, Germany,” says singer/bassist Andy Curran. “So, returning to the El Mocambo is a special homecoming for us. We love playing in Toronto, it’s where we began this ride, and it’s a perfect time to celebrate 40 years together.”

Recorded on December 12, 2018, at HEAT Festival in Ludwigsburg, “Postcard from Germany” is a live recording of Coney Hatch’s first-ever live show in Germany. Comprised of a double CD, in addition to "Postcard from Germany," two new songs will be included, as well as a remastered version of Coney Hatch's classic self-titled debut.

This special edition 2 disc CD will be available for purchase at all physical retailers across Canada and at the band’s live show on Nov 11 in Toronto.

Lynch Mob was formed in 1989 after George Lynch parted ways with his former band Dokken. Their debut release “Wicked Sensation” was met with critical and fan acclaim and went on to be certified gold in sales by the RIAA. The band would continue on through the years with a cast of talented players joining Lynch throughout their musical journey over the course of six more studio albums. “Babylon” is Lynch Mob’s eighth studio album overall and the first since 2017’s “The Brotherhood”.  Don’t miss Lynch Mob on tour this Fall including a special “Record Release Party” show at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood on October 25.

Coming the FALL of 2023 I will have a brand new Radio Show. The Rockin' Rewind Radio Show which will be featured on Classic 1220 Radio in Southern Ontario. It will also be fully streamable and in podcast form as well.  The show will run for 2 hours on Saturdays and repeat again on Sunday on Radio.

The show will feature great Classic Rock music mostly from the 80s with interview clips, special co-hosts and music features. It will also incorporate a local artist portion to help support up and coming Rock Stars.

Legendary Rocker Rick Springfield has a brand new album and tour out in 2023. It's his first studio album of new music in 5 years titled AUTOMATIC. It was self produced and Rick plays all the instruments on the album. His I WANT MY 80s Tour stops into 26 City Cities including here in NIAGARA FALLS CANADA on Wednesday August 9th at OLG STAGE Fallsview Casino along with Tommy TUTONE, The Hooters and Paul Young.
