Inside Rutgers Athletics: The Roundtable (A recap of the Big Ten Women's Basketball and Wrestling Tournaments, A preview of Rutgers men's lacrosse's annual matchup with in-state rival Princeton)

This week, the Roundtable recapped Rutgers women's basketball's performance in this year's Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. In Minnesota, the Scarlet Knights downed Northwestern in round one, but fell short in round two against the Illinois Fighting Illini. As Rutgers won six Big Ten games all season long, this year's campaign has mostly likely come to a close.

Our hosts: Alex Carmenaty and Christian Vazquez break down all the numbers from the entire season, as well as the postseason stats standouts like Kaylene Smikle, Chyna Cornwell, Awa Sidibe and many others put up during the run.

Christian Vazquez later on recapped Rutgers Wrestling's performance in the Big Ten Wrestling Tournament this past weekend out in Michigan. Vazquez talked one on one with WRSU FM New Brunswick Wrestling Analyst Max Sanchez. As Sanchez was in Michigan for the tournament, he dove into the top performances from individual wrestlers on the team, as well as how the entire program competed in this stage of the postseason. Rutgers Wrestling now moves onto the National Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which will happen from March 16-18.

Alex Carmenaty to end the show chatted with Rutgers men's lacrosse attackman Brian Cameron. A fifth-year senior with 17 goals and 24 points in the first six games of the season, Cameron has been standing out for a team that has won three straight games at home against the likes of Loyola Maryland, St. John's and Utah. Cameron and company play in-state rival Princeton this weekend at SHI Stadium, where Brian will face off against his younger brother Sean for potentially the last time in the sport of lacrosse. The Scarlet Knights look to win four-straight against a team Rutgers lost to last season by five goals.

Inside Rutgers Athletics: The Roundtable (A preview of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament for Rutgers women's basketball)

This week's episode of The Roundtable details a preview of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament for Rutgers women's basketball. As the Scarlet Knights come in as the 11th seed, Rutgers will matchup with Northwestern on Wednesday March 1 at approximately 4:30 pm Eastern Time to begin the postseason.

Our hosts: Alex Carmenaty and Christian Vazquez recap the team's regular season, while previewing the upcoming in-conference tournament. With five impressive conference wins while having an eight-player roster under first year Head Coach Coquese Washington, the Scarlet Knights look to make a run in Minnesota, where the tournament is located.

Alex Carmenaty also talked with WRSU FM New Brunswick Sports Announcer Alec Crouthamel, who will be covering the team out in Minnesota. Alec gave his perspective on the program's season and what to expect when the tournament begins.

To end the show, Alex Carmenaty and Christian Vazquez profiled Kaylene Smikle, who broke out as a freshman phenom for the team. Smikle averaged 17.5 points per game during the regular season, while being named Big Ten Freshman of the week four separate times.

The Farmingdale, New York native has come on the season quickly for Rutgers and looks to carry her success into the postseason for a Rutgers team making strides with its new freshman star.

As Rutgers women's basketball has overhauled expectations, the program looks to build upon its success even further on the larger scale.
