So this will be 3 simple steps for you to being sharing your voice. And I have to say it is one of my favorites 

Step 1  Equipment-Recording (audacity) 

Step 2 Hosting (Buzzsprout) and Having your podcast on the main platforms, like Apple, Google, Stitcher etc

Step 3 Various ideas for podcasting topics. Tricks to turn video into podcast etc.

One aspect of sharing your voice like this is overcoming "the imposter syndrome" or saboteurof your voice.

Stepping out into a new phase of a dream...Can bring the daunting doubts and overbearing onslaught of negative chatter in your brain.

I’ve been stepping out into a new venture in addition to the Kingdom Mentor Academy with Voice Overs. What is that exactly?

It’s the voice you hear behind that commercial or in that YouTube video commercial.

When I retired from radio a number of years ago I wanted to go into this but didn’t know how. I also had a secret (not anymore) of being a voice in a Pixar Children’s movie.

The ironic thing about that is when I first was hired by the radio station my boss was not so thrilled with my voice and suggested I voice “Adventures In Odyssey”, a children’s radio show.

That crushed me then.  But I rose from there and guess what most of the comments were from listeners? They loved my voice.

So here I am.  Fighting the same critics (most in my head) and facing the challenge of climbing up the Voice Over Mountain.  

Daunting? Yes. Challenging? And how.

But guess what? I absolutely love doing voice overs (mostly auditions right now)

Well, I had my first bite on my Fiverr account.  It’s a start.

To market your voice you must go back to the basics.

He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.

The verse I’m referring to me is one that has been a reminder to keep myself full Of Him so I can pour that out as He sees fit

It might be a podcast.

It might be a IG

And it might be a simple text.

He said to me....but I think He is really saying this to you.

Dear beloved...I see how you continue to walk in trust and rest. I love how you pour your life out to bless others. How you water and tend to what I have given you.

It may seem small to you. But it is not. I see you being faithful with what you think is little. It is not in My eyes.

Do you know that as you water others I will move to water and refresh you?

Yes child.  My love for you always moves and aides to your greatest good. 

Release your worrying and brooding emotions that are stuck in the trauma of years gone by or even days ago. I’m here to breath in you new life and hope. My wind will blow through your mind with My Presence and lift you up off the ash heap.

If you find yourself worrying, release that to me so we can together build a new thought constructively. 

What is it child?

I see you wring your hands and run your hand through your hair in terror and anxiety.

Let me have your hands. Do you feel me caressing your face with them...rubbing your arms...lifting your face to see me through the veil that’s lifted...My Face smiling .,flowing with grace.

Go ahead. I’m ready for long walks and long talks with you. I am here with what feels like healing or destiny delay. You are not hidden child. I am working all things behind the scenes so you will continue be that flowing oil to share with others.

Keep being full of Me and do refresh others. Remember. I take care of the lilies in the field. How much more will I care for you. My love for you is bigger that the mountains you feel.

Believe. Therefore speak child.

You have the message, the prophetic word, the hope for a worried soul. Beauty and splendor...radiates in you. You reflect my majesty and the intentionality of My Heart.

Why? How?

You are the message. You become the revelation pouring forth the prophetic, My words. You represent the design and frequencies of heaven. You are Jesus with skin on.

So stop striving dear one. Begin abiding.

I helped Dave today!

Not my strong point nor my delight as he is building a bedroom downstairs for grandson Landon.

It’s about a two hour drive just to get there.

I find something very interesting and healing for me mentally as we travel the back roads to get there.

You see we lived in this area during the hey day of Dave’s business while raising two you young  ambitious children. 

These were tough years in so many ways for me. Even tho I was working at a job I loved at the radio station.  I still had so many issues that triggered trauma.

Today as we drove these back roads Dave had some brutal memories he shared before we were married. 

I mentioned how sad that must be now. He said not any more. His life is radically different now and he had lots of good memories: Serving and making clients very satisfied with his drywall work and construction of new homes, not to mention riding our Harley’s thru the curves!

I went into deep thought. For one it made me miss my kids. Before I could think “I’d like a do over”, I realized something was taking place in me mentally:

Healing.

Peace.

Contentment.

I did my best. 

I worked hard. 

I have forgiven myself.

I was not going to let the inner voice of saboteur take me out for the count!

So as we ride these roads I release thanksgiving to a good good Father who holds my life...,the good, the bad, the ugly, in His Hands!

If you could, what day would you choose to grow old and pass on to be withJesus?

My Aunt Polly passed on this early Easter morning.
⠀
Lots on my mind today this Easter morning. I can’t help but wonder if she walked in all her dreams.
⠀
I think she did especially with her children and grand kids.
⠀
She was an amazing cook and found much of her identity in not just the cooking but preparing the meal. She was also an amazing photographer.
⠀
Lots of memories with her.....she and Horace were always good to me...After dad passed, mom, my oldest brother and I were allowed to stay with her....for a few weeks as the tenderness of my dad was so intense.
⠀
I learned to really ride a motorcycle while staying with them despite her concern.
⠀
She welcomed my husband Dave with open arms sharing her love and kindness which was she was so well known for!
⠀
Aunt Polly used to almost always tell the story concerning my antics when my three brothers and I stayed with her one winter week as my mom was giving birth to my little brother.
⠀
With great drama she’d share how one time my brothers and me would not be quiet one night at bed time. She said she went back to the rooms to tell us to hush up. We kept acting up....
⠀
With great description she shares how she went into one room “for the laaaast time” to really give the two brothers in there the riot act...to be quiet. And then...she went into the room where I was and was just about to yell...When she saw me.
I was kneeling in my crib in a prayer mode, hands together and moving my lips like I was praying.....
⠀
She had to get out fast as she said it was so funny while precious at same time!
⠀
After sharing, she’s simply laughs and laughs at that memory.
⠀
God bless my Uncle Horace and cousins...as a legend of the Okanogan Valley passes today.

So let’s talk a little golf. ...which is on part of my story...I I grew up ...most of my teens with a passion for this sport.

As a junior golfer I found great success on the links...but not without a price to my mind.

I remember very young I’d get so nervous before a tournament...even if I was the only girl and win is a sure thing. I'd usually settle my brain down after the first hole...I i shot and played well...then definitely that would help.

Note:  My performance affected how well I would be mentally..

I’d spend many a day and night at the driving range practicing and hitting one ball after another.  My motto: To be the best you have to work harder  than the rest.

Note: Performance acceptance starting to hard wire into my brain.

Weight issue...up early 5:30...run 2 miles and then practice

I know much of my striving instead of abiding came from this relentless pursuit to go to college on a golf scholarship and play professionally.

Well, I accomplished both of these goals...But not dealing with my mind and emotions was my undoing. I lost my dad half way through my senior year of college. I left all those emotions buried deep in my soul.  But there was one place I could not hide it...on the golf course.

For some reason...the setting where my dad was always my greatest fan....on the links...I had no control and went from an All American collegiate golfer  y junio year onto another....to a wrecked shambles of a golfer. I would walk past other golf coaches, who used to acknowledge me and say something, to stone cold silence or the turn of their back hearing them whisper...”what happened to tee.”

I share this honestly because years later I can see the landscape of the wrecked mind I was trying to walk through...AND yes, I had a relationship with God.

Defeating the dream killer...

I had something profound happen about a month ago concerning one dream I have continued to have at least a dozen times.

I usually had this dream during stressful moments in my life. 

It's actually very short but this is what it details:

I'm in college..(Albuquerque, NM) and halfway through my semester I realize I have not been to one (sometimes two classes) and I freak out because I realize I have not stepped into that classroom for that subject (usually it's an English Class).

Something happened in this dream about a month ago that was so profound. It's taken that long to really ask and listen to the meaning of it.

So in this particular dream that came again I did something different..in the dream, mind you. I  went back to the teacher of each class where I had been absent for half the semester and specifically asked what I could do to make up the time missed.
