On Owning Your Voice & Story

On Owning Your Voice & Story

In this episode I dive into the importance of your voice and story - even if we don't think our journey or story is important enough to share. Our ability to own our voice and story is what allows us to create impact in the world, if only we're able to let go of our self-limiting beliefs and fully step into our power, and in the process inspire and impact others.

Lessons Learned from a Month Meditating in Bali

Lessons Learned from a Month Meditating in Bali

In October of 2019 I spent a whole month in Bali...meditating. In order to achieve my 500hr meditation training I spent a month long studying and practicing meditation, including observing three and a half days of silence, meditating for a total of 24 hours over those three days. What developed was a lot of deep insights about myself, so I decided upon returning home to share my thoughts in the hopes that some of the messages I received might resonate with others.

    Nourishment over Perfection & Achievement

    Nourishment over Perfection & Achievement

In this episode I talk about a question that's been on my mind lately, "what would be most nourishing to YOU?"

It sounds like a simple question, but it made me realize that with my old habits of people pleasing and co-dependency I often forget to check in with myself and see what would would make me feel well.

To some it might come naturally, but to me I often think about what would be best for the other people in my life - coworkers, clients, boyfriend, family, before I even think about what I would like. Changing this habit has been a process, but this question I was asked opened up a window for me to see that sometimes it's as simple as checking in with yourself.
