    • I couldn’t stop eating and binging. I felt paralyzed. The shame that followed was devastating.
    • The aftermath and purge after a binge.
    • It took me YEARS to heal my binging and negative food/body relationships… and THIS is why I created my 12-week FIT + FREE FORMULA coaching program.
    • My experience with food & my body in the last couple years.
    • Moving back to my hometown after years away in LA and Spain.
    • Gaining 15-20 pounds from the pandemic and forced quarantine.

    • 2020 - was both the hardest and most confronting year with food due to the pandemic, and was also the year that I changed my entire life.

    • 2021 - I allowed myself to approach my first bout at a HEALTHY & SUSTAINABLE weightloss and fitness journey.
    • Since then, here in September 2022 - I’ve released -29 pounds of fat and have maintained and gained muscle ALL WHILE LOVING AND ENJOYING MY LIFE… With NOOOOOO RESTRICTION OR FOOD RULES :)
    • NOW - I want to cry looking in the mirror, because, for the first time in my 32 years of life, I am so happy with and proud of the body I see in the mirror and the woman standing in… and realizing I never EVER think or obsess over food any more… after years of eating and snacking all day long, I’m finding myself forgetting to eat?!
    • Backtrack - I lost my period for 2 YEARSSSS due to chronic grad school stress and extreme weight loss in 2016-2018.
    • I’ve found the recipe to heal binge-eating and negative body image.
    • My baby, my child, the love of my life… my 12-week FIT + FREE FORMULA Group Coaching Program.
    • My girls are transforming everything with me!!

    In this episode, Corissa dives a little deeper into the mind and reminds us that “the voice in your head is not you”. We have approximately 60,000 thoughts a day on average & ~95% of those thoughts are subconscious thoughts that are not “our own”. Our personal perspectives, beliefs, values, and opinions are programmed from ages 0-7 years, and they only strengthen as we get older with each “story” we tell ourselves to confirm our own beliefs & opinions.

    This voice in our head is often unkind & negative. This voice mostly brings us thoughts created from fear, overwhelm, insecurity, self-doubt, and more. But why? Why can’t our brain reflect our deepest desires and project thoughts of confidence when we’re out in the world “doing life”...?
