I am (Edna) Raquel Velez-Thomas (Raquel is my middle name but my business AKA), mom of 2
young men, wife for 26 years, Natural Skin Care Formulator and Wellness Advocate,
I’ve struggled with endometriosis since my late teens. About 10 years ago I stopped using
parabens and was able to halt and reverse the painful symptoms. I learned to make my own
skincare because there weren’t many paraben free choices. I started Purity’s Embrace in 2019
so other woman can have safe quality options.
I have also dealt with chronic fatigue syndrome since 2008 and have been able to heal and
restore some quality of life. This journey included changing my diet, and eating gluten free.
I want to share my healing journey and raise awareness regarding these 2 chronic illnesses.
My goal is to improve the health of 10k women!
Eventually I’d like to help woman with chronic illness start their own business.
