Released in an era well before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Blade stands out as being one of the best pre-MCU movies based on a Marvel Comic. We had a great time talking about this, one, and hope that you have a fun listening along. Our guest, was Nhi Do, who claimed this episode four years prior to recording - she was that pumped about getting to talk about Blade.

Pairing up Batman and Superman seems like such an obvious move given how fundamentally different these two heroes are. They both strive for justice, but both have different methods of achieving it. It took a long time for them to meet in the pages of DC comics, and even longer before they met on screen. The Batman/Superman Movie set in the Bruce Timm/Paul Dini animated universe was a momentous occasion for fans of their respective shows. Reel Comic Heroes: 151 - Spider-Man (94) Script Read

We decided to do something a little different this episode and assembled some folks for a script read of the unmade ‘Spider-Man’ from 1994. We’re performing the 2nd revision by Joseph Goldman, James Cameron and John Brancato from 7/29/1993. This script would’ve eventually changed even more and would have become the version James Cameron planned to direct with Leonardo DiCaprio as Peter Parker. Ultimately, this project never got made (for several reasons) but we dusted off the script and gave it our best. Okey dokey.
