God is at work and that is our hope. But deception ... or lies better said ... is at work as well. Today Laurie looks at Colossians 2:8 and how the warnings of God are not meant to be rules of a prison, but signs for us as we walk in freedom. The mother-ship of warnings, however, are the calls to not b deceived. Evidently, deception is the Nuclear bomb of Satan's tools and right now, it's seeping into everything.  
We are at war with deception and that means, speaking up and making warrior sacrifices for love.

Could we make 2024 the year of truth? Because truth doesn't belong to the person but is actually a person - Jesus Christ- it's time to speak out. In Jude's letter (Bible book), he admonishes his readers and all of us to contend for the faith for sexual perversion had seeped into the church. Is this true today? If you don't think so, then you may be in the same condition Laurie's dealt with: apathy and indifference. Jude outlines 7 calls to action for contending--Laurie encourages listeners to take these calls to action and practice the dying art of apologetics. Yes, you can. Defending the King is something every believer is called to do. You don't need a seminary degree to defend your Savior.2

God is with us. What a powerful thought, that He, during times of immense trouble, the world in Chaos and the spirit of delusion seeping into minds all around us, is right beside us willingly guiding us through the crisis. Looking at a lesser-known prophetic Scripture, Laurie finds puzzle pieces that talk of timing, specifically a time when Israel awakens to the Messiah. Zechariah 9-14 hosts duel prophecies--one of which was fulfilled with the first coming of Christ. As nations line up against Israel, will we see this prophecy reach its second fulfillment in the second return of Christ.
Maybe so.
But as Christians, we're called to be aware, be watchful of what our God is doing in the world and how we are to battle through prayer and hope against the enemies of Israel and of our Savior.
