Level Up Your Business With Paid Ads (Without Losing Money)

Emily Watson is an International Marketing Manager at GoDaddy. Emily is an experienced digital marketing manager, specialising in paid social. Emily has worked in digital marketing across a range of industries including travel, aviation and new technology, as well as running campaigns across various markets worldwide, with a focus in recent years on EMEA.

So, what is paid advertising? Paid advertising is an online advertising model where advertisers bid to participate in real-time auctions to show their ads within slots on a specific platform or network. It is also sometimes called biddable media or PPC advertising. PPC stands for Pay-Per-Click advertising as you usually pay every time someone clicks on your ads.

In this episode, Emily helps us understand how to run a successful paid advertising campaign and shows us how you can boost your business performance in advertising, by using paid ads without losing money.

How To Make SEO Work For YOU (Make Customers Come To You)

Caroline Revell is an SEO specialist at GoDaddy, whose speciality and passions are link building, ranking, URLs, outreach, finding hidden opportunities competitors have missed, and building and managing teams. How To Start A Business You Love (With The People You Love) - Chris Hannaway

How To Start A Business You Love (With The People You Love) - Chris Hannaway

Chris Hannaway founded Infinite Session with his brother Tom in 2018. They set out with a goal of creating an alcohol-free beer that actually tastes like beer, just like you'd find in your local craft brewery. Infinite beers sell worldwide, predominantly in UK and US supermarkets and have won several World Beer Awards, including when judged against alcoholic beers!

Unlike alcohol-free beers of the past, Infinite Session is unrestrained. Infinite Session stands for more when alcohol-free beer has always been defined by restriction. They believe that beer is bigger than booze: no more covering labels or whispering orders at the bar. Drinking should be on your terms because the flavour is more important than ABV.

In this episode, Simon and Chris discuss how to go about starting a business you love, working with family and much more.

    Topics

    • Chris’ background and how Infinite Session was born
    • How to get into entrepreneurship
    • The importance of market research
    • Working with family
    • If you had to start again, what would you do differently?
