What to physically expect
We start with 24 hours after your last drink: you might feel withdrawal symptoms: feeling low, anxious, snappy, nauseous and tired. But 48-72 Hours after your last drink….. You should no longer feel any hangover side effects, and blood sugar levels stabilize. At this point, sleep is likely to be disturbed. We talk about sleep a lot in this episode because we love our sleep. Crazy beans! The fear of not being able to fall asleep or falling asleep like a log but then waking up at 3 am flooded with all things nasty like dread and anxiety…so it deserves to be spoken about!
We also explain what to expect from withdrawal symptoms and what to do if you're unsure or worried about your detox. But this isn't a podcast solely about withdrawal. It's also about the life-changing benefits our bodies and minds get from taking a break from alcohol …

Here we talk you through how to reassure your brain by pretending you've already been where you're going or had the conversation you're about to have or sat AF on the beach you're heading onto next week... whatever the scenario this tool will adapt. You will be able to navigate all these challenging things with a glint in your eye cause you've outsmarted your brain, and THAT feels good my friends!!!
