Clarissa Constantine is an only child who had a tough relationship with her mom. During college at University of Hartford, she began what would turn into a decades-long career as a test prep coach. She's helped thousands of kids around the world navigate the college and grad school admissions processes. Along the way she's joked that she sometimes finds herself playing the role of therapist more than tutor, helping kids manage the stresses of life. But no matter how many young adults she helped, she longed for a closer, more intimate relationship with her own mother. Unfortunately, that didn't come to be before her mom passed in November 2019. She's driven to help other families avoid the heartache, the lost years, and the regret she - and most likely her mom, too - experienced. In addition to test prep coaching and dreaming of the ways ParenT(w)een Connection will help families, she's also a certified life coach who helps teens learn concepts like goal-setting, self-compassion & self-esteem, mindfulness, and growth mindsets.

Carlos Martinez – Brief Bio

Carlos Martinez, an accomplished musician, bass vocal soloist and vocal teacher runs a private vocal studio in Manchester, NH.  He is currently conductor for the Center Harbor Town Band in New Hampshire and Organist/Choir Director at Trinity Anglican Church in Rochester, NH, and adjunct professor at the University of New Hampshire.

Carlos Martinez – Extended Bio

Mr. Carlos Martinez, (Mr. M), a native of San Antonio, Texas has been living in the New England area for nearly 30 years.   Mr. Martinez is an accomplished musician who has sung and traveled to many parts of the world singing opera. 

Carlos Martinez was the founder and Conductor/Music Director of Operafest of New Hampshirebased in Concord, NH with numerous successes and performances to thousands of audience members.  As an opera singer, he has performed as a Bass throughout the United States and abroad with Houston Grand Opera, Opera to Go in Houston, TX, San Antonio Opera Theatre, Opera Iowa, Des Moines Metro Opera and the St. Petersburg State Opera in Russia.

Currently, Mr. Martinez runs a private vocal studio, is organist/choirmaster at Trinity Anglican Church in Rochester, NH and is music director/conductor of the Center Harbor Town Band.

Mr. Martinez was nominated for a Grammyhonoring dedicated teachers in the public school system.  Mr. Martinez was twice the recipient of the Compass Awardhonoring teachers excelling in their field who “lead children to the right direction”.  Carlos currently lives in Manchester, NH.

Shir Lerman Ginzburg, PhD, MPH is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Public Health Sciences at UConn Health. Her research interests currently focus on environmental health and justice among underserved communities near busy roadways. She is trained as a medical anthropologist and public health professional, and has conducted research in syndemics, chronic illness, mental health, obesity, diabetes, mindfulness, the Zika Virus, and Puerto Rico. She received her PhD in medical anthropology from the University of Connecticut, where she identified a new syndemic in Puerto Rico: the OVIDD Syndemic (Obesity, structural Violence, political Instability, Diabetes, and Depression). She completed her NIH-funded fellowship in implementation science at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, where she studied the correlation between mindfulness and mental health outcomes among underserved communities in the greater Boston area. She has coedited three books, Foundations of BioSocial Health: Stigma and Illness Interactions; StigmaSyndemics: New Directions in BioSocial Health;and Gender, Health, and Society in Contemporary Latin America and the Caribbean.  She has also published research articles in journals such as Medical Anthropology, Journal of Public Health, Transcultural Psychiatry, Medical Anthropology Theory, and PLOS One.

I started my career in the travel industry as an avid traveler excited to explore the world at every opportunity!  Through my many vacations I became an expert on the consumer aspect of travel from customer service to accommodations to finances associated with travel.

In order to improve my personal travel experiences, I started to do research on the travel industry.  This initial hobby turned into a passion to help advance the travel industry having both a customer’s vantage points and professional knowledge.
