As Pastor Devin continues in Acts, we take a balanced look at the topic of healing.  Is God still healing today?  Does he hear me when I pray?  How can I access his healing power?  What is the church’s role in healing?  Is there a greater lesson to be learned through healing?  Join us as we allow Acts 5 to guide our faith in the work that Jesus is still doing today! 

It’s difficult in our current culture for any group of people to stay “together”.  Sadly, it is also difficult for the people of God to stay unified.  However, Acts gives us a picture of unity and Godly generosity!

When we are generous, it encourages love, trust, and devotion to one another.  Pastor Devin leads us through Acts 4 and 5 as we use the early church’s example as a guide for us today.

What is the purpose of the church meeting together?  Sometimes we feel that church can just be a social club, or a place where I go to get my needs met.  Some feel that the church should only be about meeting the physical needs of the community?  What really is the purpose of the church?

In this message, Pastor Devin continues in the book of Acts, as he starts a series called “Together”.  All through Acts, we see God working and building his church, however we see people working, living, and serving together.  Join us as we see the importance of praying together from Acts 4:23-32.

Are you ready for 2024?  Pastor Devin launches a new series as we head into the new year called “Sanctuary”.  Sanctuary is word to describe a place of safety, or a nature preserve.  But it’s also used to describe the most holy place in the house of God.  Through Christ, we are called to not just show up at a building, but to allow His Spirit to dwell in our lives everywhere we go! 

How can we best take advantage of this last week of the 2023?  Pastor Devin has a short message to encourage us to have “selective memory” as we look back on the good things God has done, forget some of the challenges of the past, and ‘press forward’ into the new year.  We are going to be “turning the page” into the new year whether we like it or not.  Let’s make the most of it, and believe God for many blessings ahead.

In our second week of Advent, Pastor Joe talks to us about the Peace that has come through Jesus Christ. Peace is not just the absence of conflict, but rather it is the making of something whole or complete.

God sent His son Jesus to bring Peace to all those that would choose to follow Him. Are you willing to allow Jesus to give you His peace this Christmas season? God longs to be at peace with you, and He wants you to be at peace with others.

Today is the beginning of the celebration of the Arrival of Jesus! Thats what Advent is all about. As we count down the days until Christmas, we remember the coming of Jesus to the earth. But Jesus didn't come empty handed. Advent is the celebration of Jesus bringing Hope, Peace, Joy and Love to the world.

Pastor Devin begins this series by talking about the deep HOPE that Jesus brings into our lives. What do you have Hope for? What have you lost Hope for? How can this Christmas restore that Hope again?

Pastor Devin teaches on the beginning of persecution that was coming to the disciples for following Jesus.  Many times, we think if something bad happens to us, God must not be with us.  Yet the early disciples were punished for doing good and following God’s purpose for their life.  How should we respond when we are punished for doing good?  Open to Acts 4 and join us.

“I’m Sorry!”  How many times have you said that after making a mistake?  Remorse is a good thing, but the person you offended or hurt isn’t only asking for remorse, but for you to repent.

What is repentance?  What is redemption?  In Acts chapter three Jesus works through Peter and John to bring healing to a lame man. The focus was not the healing, the focus was repentance and redemption.  Pastor Devin explains the importance of these words and the power they bring through Jesus Christ.

Have you ever lost power in your home?  An immediate change happens and one minute you had lights and power, and the next minute you have nothing.  It’s a reminder of where your electrical power comes from and your need of that power.

Where does our power come from for life and for peace?  Is your spiritual “light” on, or are you sitting in spiritual darkness with no power?  As Pastor Devin reads from Acts 3, we will look at the power that is in the name of Jesus.  This story reminds us how powerful Jesus is, and the power we can have for our lives.
