    186// "All my symptoms started after I gave birth." What is Postnatal Depletion? Do you have it? And what to do about it.

    One of the most common patterns I hear from clients coming into my office is women in their 30's+ telling me: "All my symptoms started or got significantly worse after having child # __."

    When they come in, they're dealing with symptoms of brain fog, weight gain, anger & irritability, low libido, weak muscles, fatigue, insomnia OR wanting to sleep all the time, acid reflux, new or increasing food sensitivities, bloating, and more.

    At the very minimum, these women are told by their doctors that this is a normal part of motherhood and to just suck it up. At most, a doctor will blame all of this on one or two markers in their bloodwork such as low iron or low Vit D, give them a supplement, and tell them that's the only thing they can fix.

    Not only is this untrue that all these symptoms must be permanent after becoming a mother, but it's bad science. Yes, it's normal for women to be depleted by pregnancy and delivery for 3-12 months after giving birth. But if your brain fog, weight gain, anger & irritability, weak muscles, fatigue, bloating, or more has not resolved in the 12 months after giving birth, it's time to look into something call chronic Postnatal Depletion.

    What is Postnatal Depletion, how do you know if you have it, and what can you do to get rid of it?

    I go over all this today and more.

    If you have been sick and have been trying to navigate health insurance to get the MOST out of your health insurance while paying the LEAST, you know that health insurance is a total BEAR.

    Health insurance can be a TOTAL pain in every regard. It can be a pain to find providers who take your insurance, it's a pain to be told your insurance will cover one amount and later you get charged a totally different (usually much higher) amount. I gave the question a lot of thought, and after collecting my thoughts from 100+ cases of men and women whom I've helped get rid of their most stubborn constipation, bloating, acne, autoimmune flares, eczema, chronic pain, fatigue, and more - I really hope my answer is refreshing to you.
