This week I speak to the wonderful Lucy Ford, showbiz reporter turned social content creator (for Netflix, no less) and radio presenter, but constantly Extremely Online™️ person. Lucy is one of my very favourite people on the internet for her nuanced and insightful thoughts on online culture, and we discussed our shared love of boybands, creativity, being a positive force and - I couldn't help myself - the day she gave Reese Witherspoon her scented dissertation.

Emily Garland is the founder of Maid of Gingerbread, making her official title gingerbread architect. But if giant life-size gingerbread houses, clocks and more wasn't enough, Emily is the self-described Queen of Niche. Among other things, she regularly plays Balinese Gamalan and lives on a houseboat, and does all of these things with unfaltering enthusiasm - it was a joy to chat to her and discuss all of the incredibly interesting spokes of her life!

In this episode I spoke to everyone's favourite instagrammer, Charlotte Jacklin. She describes herself as millennial meets Good Housekeeping meets Which? magazine, which is an absolutely perfect explanation of the role she plays in our lives - Charlotte has taken influencing and content creation to a whole new stratosphere. She has a magic ability to make the everyday exciting and extraordinary - whilst also never sugarcoating it. We talked about all of her enthusiasms: taking beautiful photos, creativity, play, honesty, being told you're 'too much' and so much more!

With a signature wonky and wonderful, perfectly imperfect calligraphy style, Alice is absolutely 100% the right side of whimsical. We discussed so many of her passions and projects in this episode, including handlettering that isn't cookie-cutter, solo exploring, where to get cake in East London, kombucha, social justice, and protest banners.
