On the podcast, I chatted with Herschel Miedzygorski a legend in Vancouver who knows everyone, thanks to his big personality and his love for food and the food experience. He was the man behind The Southside Deli in Whistler and Harrys Diner, plus he ran for council in Vancouver back in 2018. He is such a great character and I loved talking to him about all his stories and experiences.
On the podcast I chatted with Paul about growing up in a privileged school in Africa to then his culture shock coming back to Canada at age 17. We talked about his early days as an urban planner and how he learned how to run his company by doing what others didn't do. He travelled to Havana and photographed interesting faces in his studio as he fell in love with the city. His company is Ekistics and he has written a book of the theory of new urbanism. From explaining how business in China works to his love for motorcycle adventures, Paul's life is full of interesting stories and perspective.

On this episode of the podcast, I chatted with a lawyer Miss Rosy Mondin who has been responsible for evolving the legalization of cannabis within Canada. She worked with the Senate and has been diligent about her mission to making this substance that, she feels, has undeservedly been in the shadows for so many years. Today she is a CEO of a cannabis extraction company where she is seeing the challenges of running a large corporate business. We chatted about the marketing cultural and acceptance of cannabis in the marketplace of substances in relation to how liquor is excepted and marketed. There were many points in the podcast where her and I wrestled with many specifics of this highly polarized topic. She was very graceful and we had a great time.

We got into body image and the impact that media and society has on the emotional state of women and how men and women see things so differently. Anton is part of the Mensa program in Vancouver and will probably be the most intelligent human beings that will be on the podcast, from an IQ perspective, for many episodes to come. He is a delight to talk to you it has become one of my favorite people.
