TSS 40 - Star Trek Into Darkness and Seijun Suzuki with Brendan Brown!
Hey there, Spoiler Show fans, this week I talked to film buff and general Renaissance Man Brendan Brown about the new film Star Trek Into Darkness. We both had some issues with the film, which provided a great jumping off point for discussion about what everyday life would be like in the Federation, the lackluster roles for women in the new series and more. We also spoil the new movie quite heavily, so be warned. In the second segment, we talked about our upcoming project at Metro Cinema at the Garneau Theatre, Shots to Kill! The Sixties Cinema of Seijun Suzuki. We`re both really excited to let you know about the new film series, which can be found online at http://suzuki.heliotropia.net/. The excellent trailer Brendan`s gotten together can be found at http://vimeo.com/67429851. There were a few technical difficulties in getting this episode together, so please bear with us. Thanks for listening!

It's a pretty great show, which you can check out online at http://www.bite.ca/show/felt-up/.

Hey there Spoiler Show fans, this week marked the return of Mark Hayes to the program, as he discussed adventures he's gotten up to in Cuba on behalf of Solidarity Rock! Solidarity Rock is an organization that helps Cuban citizens get ahold of musical instruments and other supplies that are almost impossible to find in the isolated country. Great stuff! I ranked 10 of my favorite Apocalypses by their likelihood of happening, and Marcus and I reasoned through them. We also let slip which ones we think are the most entertaining (in theory, always in theory).
