And it’s so easy to become passive parents and accidentally raise passive kids. Kids aren’t bored anymore! They aren’t imaginative playing like they used to! I mean I remember when wrapping paper rolls became my lightsaber and I was a Jedi knight! But now kids are just kind of in front of their screens. My guest today, Adrian Thompson is a parent coach that specializes in helping parents be purposeful with their children. Her main goal is just to help parents raise emotionally healthy kids. S3 E7: Lets Talk About Porn Struggles: Ashlee Ayre

S3 E7: Lets Talk About Porn Struggles: Ashlee Ayre
What’s up everybody and welcome back! It is great to be at BBG! Our youth feel immense pressure to be perfect and not make mistakes. And they naturally feel immense guilt when they make a mistake. One thing that most of our youth struggle with to some degree is pornography. Smart phones and social media have made it ever more accessible. It’s no longer if you see it, but when you see it. There is a misconception that this is only a boys problem when all kids struggle with it. Because of that, a lot of girls are left hiding in shame because they don’t feel like it is normal for them to struggle. News flash, its normal to struggle! And its not their fault that they are struggling. It’s time to change the stigma around making mistakes. In an effort to give some hope, I reached out to our guest today to share her story. Ashlee Ayre is an activist and child advocate who struggled with pornography for over 6 years. And her story is full of hope. And it will hopefully inspire all of us to share our struggles. Listen up, this one is going to be good. Make sure to follow me @bulliesbe.gone for your daily dose of positivity. And always remember, you are wonderful, you are worthy, and you are worth it. S3E3: From Sex Traffic Survivor to Everyday Hero: Elizabeth Frazier

S3E3: From Sex Traffic Survivor to Everyday Hero: Elizabeth Frazier

Every day, kids are trafficked through social media.  Every day, kids have their choices taken away from them.  And we need to stop living in denial.  My guest today, Elizabeth Frazier, is a sex traffic survivor. She was trafficked by her parents for nearly 20 years.  After she was safe enough to break those ties, and to heal, she found power in words.  She started a company called Hero Bands where she gives bracelets with words on them to survivors to help with their healing. She is AMAZING and we all need to hear her story.

We dive into how long she was trafficked, how she was able to heal, how Hero Bands became a thing, and how we can be a support to those who may be suffering who we are unaware of.  What changes do you need to make in order to make sure your kids are safe from predators online? What changes do you need to make in your home to make it a safe place for everyone?
