    Warmly

Warmly is a storytelling community, where we embrace vulnerability instead of fearing it. Warmly's mission is to:

    (1) inspire endless curiosity of self
    (2) offer a playful space to explore (and poke fun at!) the enneagram, and
    (2) create a place where ordinary people can tell their extraordinary stories

[Warmly launched in June of 2020, and is hosted by Kaia Lindsay Moore.]

This week I'll introduce you to my friend & college pal, Kait. Kait and I are going to talk about being an Enneagram 2, working in the non-profit world, the one and only Hinge date she went on, and autism. [In case you're looking for our conversation about our time at Covenant College, look for the bonus episode that dropped today, too.]

ON MY MANTRAS RIGHT NOW W/ KAIA

This week's episode is all about the mantras I'm carrying with me for the unforeseeable future. The common theme is: energy. How you get it, how you distribute & protect it -- and a little bit more.

We're back with...Faith! Pick up where we left off last week for a conversation about story -- about how even the parts that don't quite make sense were meant to fit in all along.

ON THE PARTS OF YOUR STORY THAT DON'T QUITE FIT W/ FAITH [PT. ONE]

Today's episode I'll introduce my friend, Faith.

Faith and I talk about life as an Enneagram 4, picking a college, failing at college, mentorship, faith, and things we thought going to a Christian college would do in the context of eternity.

Come back next week for our dialogue about story -- how even the parts that don't quite make sense were meant to fit in all along.

ON GOD & GAY COUNTRY BOPS W/ BLAKE [PT. ONE]

This week's episode is a two-fer (again!). No one can tell us when to stop gabbing.

In this episode I'm joined by a lover of gay country music -- and a writer of music himself -- Blake. You can learn more about this episode here.

We'll talk about that one time Blake wrote a song about a one night stand, being vegan, being sober, being OVER dating, our Tinder bios, inequality in the LGBTQ+ community, and more.

ON HEALTH, FATPHOBIA, ORTHOREXIA, AND INSTAGRAM DOCTORS W/ JILLIAN [PT. TWO]

This week we're chatting with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Enneagram 2, and college pal of mine -- Jillian Longway.

This is actually part TWO of a two-part conversation I had with Jillian.

In part one [Episode 24], we talked about perfectionism, asking for help, struggling in struggle-free environments (ie. strict private school), breaking up with church, and somehow even more. But in *this* episode we're talking about some health & wellness related topics like how not all bodies are treated equally in healthcare, and other topics like HAES, fatphobia, and diet culture. Consider this your TW.

    ON SHARING FAILURE W/ KAIA

This week's episode is about a recent binge I did of The Skin Deep where I uncovered some similarities I shared with a recent guest of theirs.  I’lll talk about the silos we create where we house the experiences we've been through -- and how we often feel that sharing of these things eases our pain or helps us to process. This week's episode is an invitation to consider a new approach to growth: keeping things to yourself,

ON DECONSTRUCTING EVERYTHING YOU ONCE KNEW W/ KRISTIN [PT. 1]

This week we're talking to my friend and former college "classmate" Kristin (or Kris!). We weren't exactly pals during college but our shared experiences during and after that time have brought us together, and kept our mutual affections alive. On today's episode we'll be talking about how going to a small, private, Christian college shaped us, what Kristin wishes that establishment might do differently, and all the unlearning that's taken place since we left.
