W V Raman, makes a return with a new series titled "Wednesdays with WV" in collaboration with Sportstar, a leading sports magazine in India. In the inaugural episode, Raman hosts Jhulan Goswami, the spearhead of the Indian bowling attack for 2 decades. In a freewheeling chat, Jhulan Goswami talks about: 

1) Challenges she faced in becoming a professional cricketer.
2) The societal pressures she overcame in her cricketing career.

Arjuna Ranatunga burst into the Sri Lankan cricket team as a schoolboy cricketer. Early on, he was earmarked to lead the National cricket team. Eventually he went on to lead Sri Lanka to a World Cup triumph in 1996, proving his leadership credentials. 
After quitting cricket, he had a brief stint as the Chairman of the Sri Lankan Cricket Board but had to move on due to various issues. He became a politician and had an enviable record in terms of winning three consecutive terms and turning around the fortunes of the port and petroleum ministries. 
On this episode of #InsideOut with WV Raman, he doesn't pull any punches when he talks about the corrupt members in Sri Lankan cricket administration, his propensity to move away from leaders who are not committed to serve the people, and also of the possibility of becoming the President of Sri Lanka sometime in the future. 
Ranatunga is convinced that Sri Lanka lacks leadership in both cricket and politics and goes on to say that he can provide the same if people give him the mandate. He is using his spare time now to write his autobiography which is due to be released next year. A successful captain that he was, he also hopes to serve Sri Lankan cricket if required. 

On this episode of #InsideOut with WV Raman, Subiksha Raman talks about all things related to mental health problems. She trained to be a dramatherapist in the UK and is a registered with the HCPC as a practitioner. Subiksha Raman has 3 masters degrees in different branches of psychology and is a Dramatherapist. She explains the various terms that are used in relation to the psychological interventions and treatment of mental health issues. 

Subiksha Raman provides insights on how dramatherapy is different from other forms of interventions and how one can benefit resorting to dramatherapy.  She offers her views on how important is it for an individual to find the right therapist to overcome mental health issues.  

Khushbu Sundar is a popular actor turned politician who is unafraid of airing her views on current affairs. On this episode of #InsideOut with WV Raman, Khushbu talks about her struggles early in life, how she overcame them. She also maintains that people need to reach out for help to handle mental health problems and not resort to extreme means. The overwhelming desire to fight for the cause of women and children made her enter politics, and she is happy to be a team member to serve the party and people. Her clarity of mind is evident when she talks about the importance of celebrities having to learn to manage both success and failure in their careers.

On this episode of #InsideOut with WV Raman, Joy Bhattacharjya talks about various aspects of sports, viz broadcasting, sponsorship, conduct of mega events, infrastructure, long term planning to win World Cups. Joy has been involved in sports as a chief producer, and then as the CEO of various sporting entities including Kolkata Knight Riders in the #IPL. He also anchored the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. In short he is a mega source of vast information and experience. The other hobby of Joy's is to conduct sports quiz programs for which he is widely renowned. However, contrary to popular belief, he reveals that his memory is not his strongest suit, but at the same time suggests ways to improve one's memory. His clarity of mind makes him a delightful conversationalist, and not surprisingly, his views are much sought after as much as his expertise in sports management is.  

In a reversal of role, Neil Patel interviews WV Raman, about The Winning Sixer, a book authored by the latter. WV Raman talks about how the concept of the book took shape, the messages he has conveyed through that book. He urges everyone to unleash the leader in them and finally, Raman goes on to talk about his cricket career.  

Kapil Dev, the first World Cup winning captain in Indian cricket talks about his take on that triumph to WV Raman, on E 8 of #InsideOutwithWVRaman. He reveals why he took up the challenge of becoming a fast bowler when India's strength was spin. He assesses the best captains he has seen and also deconstructs the other all-rounders who were his arch rivals. His views reflect honesty, humility, empathy mixed with his own brand of humour that has endeared him to his millions of fans.

#RahulDravid is called as "The Wall" by his fans for the fortitude he showed out on the #cricket field. He talks about the methods he used to improve his concentration and how he handled insecurity to WV Raman on #InsideOutwithWVRaman.
